Critical Stage for Managing Corruption Effects

Old Capital Metro is a stage focused on the 'Corruptions' penalty that triggers when Pressure hits 100. The stage features many Event spaces that can alter Pressure and Corruptions.

Firepower Increases According to the Number of Pressure Overloads

On Old Capital Metro/Interior difficulty and above, you can obtain the exclusive Resonia Collection "Overload Distribution" at the start of the stage. This Resonia Collection increases the damage dealt to your allies when you acquire the Corruption symptom (Pressure Overload), so if you use it wisely, you can significantly increase your allies' firepower.

No Need to Keep the Corruptions

The effect of Overload Distribution activates when you get Pressure Overload, so even if you get rid of them later and the number of Corruptions go back down to 0, the damage increase effect will still be activated. Therefore, it is important to know how to generate Pressure Overload 10 times before challenging the boss.

Corruptions can be cleared using the Events square Purification Room or Corruption Door. If you have 5 Corruptions, Pressure Overload will not occur, so try to challenge the Next Floor with 2 or less if possible.

Be Sure to Accept the First Researcher Offer

Be sure to accept the offer from the researcher that appears at the start of the stage. Not only will the damage dealt increase by applying the Corruption symptom, but you can also obtain 2-3 A-Rank Resonia Collection pieces, giving you an advantage in battle.

Provide Content Sorted by Difficulty Level

The Ideal Boss Battle on Floors 1-2 is With 5 Corruptions

At the supply point after each floor's boss battle, you can receive rewards from the researcher based on the number of Corruptions you have. If you have 5 Corruptions, you can not only receive supplies but also erase 2 Corruptions. Therefore, it is ideal to challenge the boss with 5 Corruptions.

The Final Layer Prioritizes Removing Corruptions

Once you enter the final floor, you will no longer be able to receive researcher benefits. Therefore, prioritize eliminating Corruption effects in preparation for the final boss battle. If Overload Distribution's damage increase has not yet reached 50%, it is recommended to focus on combat-related Corruption effects and eliminate them.

Corruptions That You Want to Prioritize and Eliminate

When addressing Corruptions, prioritize trembling first. Neglecting this can make it challenging to achieve Pressure Overload times and significantly impact your HP, which will affect your performance in battles.

Remove Shadow of Horror at the Final Floor

"Shadow of Horror", which always occurs as the fifth Corruption symptom, has the effect of strengthening the final floor boss. It's not a disadvantage on the 1st or 2nd floor, so if it occurs, leave it until the final floor and delete it just before the boss battle.

The boss of Old Capital Metro has Weaknesses in Ice and Ether Attribute, so we recommend using squad members centered around Ice Attribute characters. None of the Bosses have any Resistances, so if you don't have an Ice attacker, just use the strongest Attack character you have as the leader.

There are four types of Old Capital Metro's recommended Resonia Collection: Freeze, Energy, Seishin, and Support. Freeze is only effective on Ice Attribute teams, so for other Attribute teams, get a style that matches the leader's Attribute.

Old Capital Metro Unlock Conditions

There Are Three Release Conditions for the Old Capital Metro Stage

The conditions for unlocking the Old Capital Metro stage are Inter-Knot Level 21, Reputation "Certified Proxy" or higher, and completing the sub quest "Art of War: Simple Edition". Sub quests are completed by progressing through the Main Story, so if you are not able to unlock them, there is a high possibility that you have not raised your Reputation rank.

Complete Hollow Zero Qualification Assessment Edge

After completing Main Story Chapter 1, Hollow Zero will be unlocked a few days in-game. Completing the Qualification Assessment/outer area is essential for progressing in the story, so be sure to complete it.

Complete The Art of War: Simple Edition

When Inter-Knot Level reaches 18, the sub-quest "Art of War: Simple Edition" will occur. The quest will be completed by accepting an order from the Investigator that appears in the Video Store and completing the Qualification Assessment - Frontline.

Increase Reputation to Certified Proxy

Once your Inter-Knot Level is 20 and you have collected 40 Observation Data, you will be able to challenge the Reputation Promotion exam. Increasing your Reputation will free up the level cap of characters and equipment to 30, making it easier to advance in the story and side quests.

When Reputation is Certified Proxy and Inter-Knot Level is 21, the subquest Unexplored Station will occur. If you meet the conditions, you will receive an email from the Hollow office, then follow the quest and head to Scott Outpost.

Each Difficulty Level of Old Capital Metro is Unlocked by Level

After unlocking the Old Capital Metro stage, a new difficulty level will be available based on the Inter-Knot Level. You can also earn Inter-Knot Credit (Experience Points) when you complete it for the first time, so aim to complete it as soon as it is released.
