Best Team Build

Ellen Main Build

AttackStunSupport
EllenEllenLycaonLycaonRinaRina

Ellen Appears After Stun in Lycaon

Operation follows the basic guidelines: '[Stun] for Stun → [Support] for Quick Assist trigger → [Attack] for damage output' is the base stat sequence. To quickly deal damage during Stun, it's best to first accumulate Ellen's energy or 'Flash Freeze Charge.

Alternative Characters

CharacterDetail
GraceGrace- Replace with Lycaon or Rina
- When replacing Lycaon, Shock's firepower increases significantly.
- When replacing Rina, it is easy to target Disorder.
AnbyAnby- Replace Lycaon's stun abilities with this character's skills
- AAdditional abilities can be activated for all characters
- You can also aim for Shock+Disorder
SoukakuSoukaku- A support character who could be a candidate to replace Rina
- Ice Support that can enhance Ellen's firepower
- The downside is that it becomes a single-attribute party.

Soukaku Attacker Build

SupportStunDefense
SoukakuSoukaku LycaonLycaonBenBen

Use Soukaku Closer to Attackers

This build features Soukaku in the Frosted Banner state as the main source of firepower. Depending on the number of Vortex layers and Stun status, you can flexibly choose whether to use 'Fly the Flag' to take turns or continue fighting and unleashing your firepower.

The Third Character Can Be Changed

The third character is Ben, which ensures durability. However, you can also use Victoria Housekeeping Co. or another Support character to activate the Additional Ability. Switch according to what you have or who you want to use

Starter Cunning Hares Team

SupportAttackStun
NicoleNicole BillyBillyAnbyAnby

Cunning Hares Party Available From The Start

The Cunning Hares formation, available from the start and usable by three characters, is recommended for learning basic controls. While it has limited Attribute Anomaly grants and Attribute synergies, it's ideal for practicing the sequence: [Stun] to apply Stun → [Support] to trigger Quick Assist → [Attack] to generate firepower.

Point BangbooPoint!Billy is capable of long-range attacks, but his long-range shots experience distance reduction, so his base stats are focused on close combat.

Alternative Characters

Character Details
NekomataNekomata- Replace with Billy
- High firepower after participating in Quick Assist
- Excellent compatibility with Nicole's short Buff + Quick Assist change
SoukakuSoukaku- Replace with Nicole
- Recommended if you do not have Lycaon yet

Attacker 1 + Supporter 2 Base Stats Build

In Zenless Zone Zero's battles, the base stats are applied after Stun, allowing for immediate attacks. Therefore, instead of using multiple Attackers, it is recommended to support the attack of one Attacker with two Supporters.

Point BangbooTip!Based on Attack + Stun + Support, Anomaly and Defense characters will be replaced with Supporter slots, and the base stats will be applied.

Strategy Points for the Certified Proxy Rank-Up Exam

  • Level 20 Recommended for All Three
  • Ice or Ether Attribute Characters Are Advantageous
  • Use Ultimate starting from Wave 2
  • Use Dodge
└ Be especially careful until Impaired

Ice or Ether Attribute Characters Are Advantageous

Ice & Ether Characters

This time, the enemy's weaknesses are unified under Ice and Ether Attributes. Therefore, if you have the above characters, you can gain an advantage by using them. However, it is possible to achieve all targets even with Cunning Hares' initial squad members if you complete their training.

Use Ultimate Starting from Wave 2

Farbauti in Wave 2 has durability comparable to that of bosses. Don’t save your Ultimate, use it in Wave 2 to likely achieve a faster clear time.

Take Advantage of Dodge

Zenless Zone Zero Dodge Image

Boss battles are long, so if you can't use Chain Attack, your Assist Points will deplete, and Perfect Assists are likely to be blocked. To avoid taking too much damage, stay calm and dodge when you see the red flashing prompt.

Be Cautious Until You Inflict Impairment

Zenless Zone Zero Stun Impairment Image

Armored Hati's Anti-Interrupt is very high in its initial state, and it hardly flinches when attacked. Once you are stunned and deal a large amount of damage, your armor will break, and your Anti-Interrupt will drop significantly, so it is important to be careful until then.
