Should You Pull Star-Studded Cast Gacha?
Pull if You Have Master Tapes
In Zenless Zone Zero, you should draw from the Stable Channel as soon as you have enough gacha tickets, or Master Tapes. You can get a guaranteed S-Rank character within the first 50 consecutive pulls and in addition it only costs 8 gacha tickets compared to the regular cost of 10 Master Tapes.
Stable Gacha GuideMicrotransactions Not Recommended
It is not recommended to pay for the Stable Channel. There are many opportunities to obtain Master Tapes in the game, so you will accumulate them as you play the game. If you want to pay and draw from the Signal Search, we recommend getting the Encrypted Master Tapes, which allows you to draw from the Exclusive Channel gacha.
Microtransactions GuideStar-Studded Cast Overview
S-Rank Guaranteed in 50 Pulls
As a bonus for new players, the Star-Studded Cast gives you a guaranteed S-Rank character within the first 50 consecutive draws. In other gachas, the pity system triggers after 90 pulls, but with the Stable Channel, you can obtain an S-Rank character more easily.
Best Character Tier ListEnds After Getting An S-Rank Character
The Star-Studded Cast gacha bonus for new players ends when you get one S-Rank character, and after that it becomes the permanent Stable Channel Gacha. The number of gacha tickets it costs will increase from 8 to 10, and the pity count will be 90 times instead of 50.
20% OFF for New Players
When you first unlock the gacha feature, the Star-Studded Cast allows you to draw 10 consecutive searches with only 8 Master Tapes, up to 5 times. Compared to the normal Star-Studded Cast gacha, you save 2 Master Tapes for every 10 pulls.
Discount Ends After 50 Pulls
The Star-Studded Cast new player bonus ends when you draw an S-Rank character. However, the Master Tape discount will continue until you pull 50 consecutive draws, so you can still draw the gacha at a lower cost. So it won't matter when you're able to pull the first S-Rank character.
Characters and Gacha Currency Do Not Change
The gacha ticket (Master Tape) used for the new player banner is the same as the one for the permanent Stable Channel. Furthermore, the drop rates, featured characters, and W-Engine mechanics are also the same.
Get Guaranteed Selected Agent After 300 Pulls
If you draw from the Stable Channel Gacha 300 times, you can select one of the S-Rank Characters that can be acquired from Stable Channel and receive it as a Guaranteed reward. Since the new player bonus gacha is considered part of the regular Stable Channel, drawing 50 times from the Stable Channel for new players will also advance the Guaranteed count by 50 draws.
Selectable Agents GuideHow to Get Gacha Tickets (Master Tape)
- Events Rewards
- New Eridu City Fund Rewards
- Hollow Zero Rewards
- Signal Shop Exchange
- Replace with Polychromes
Most Recommended to Get From Events Rewards
It is most recommended to obtain gacha tickets (Master Tape) as rewards from Events. You can get a large number of Master Tape rewards such as login rewards and pre-registration rewards from the Events page, so be sure to log in every day to receive them.
Events GuideReward From New Eridu City Fund
You can also earn Master Tapes through the New Eridu City Fund (Battle Pass). Advancing each level gives you a reward, so you need to complete missions each day since you cannot obtain multiple items in a short period of time.
New Eridu City Fund Battle PassExchange at Outpost Logistics in Hollow Zero
The NPC named Casper outside the Outpost Area will exchange Z-Merits for items. Item inventories are reset on the 1st of every month, so be sure to exchange the items you want before the month changes.
Hollow Zero GuideExchange at the Signal Shop
Another option is to exchange items at the Residual Signal or Fading Signal at the Signal Shop. Fading Signal is a valuable item that you can receive as a bonus when you draw from the gacha. Since Residual Signals give you other items that you may want to exchange, we recommend that you only exchange 5 pieces per month from the Fading Signal.
Fading Signals GuideExchanging with Polychromes is Not Recommended
It is not recommended to exchange Polychromes for Master Tapes. There are other ways to obtain it, so if you want to get it by paying, you should exchange it for a Encrypted Master Tape that allows you to draw from limited Exclusive Channel Banners.
