How to Trigger Impaired Effect
Inflicts Specified Damage on the Part
Zenless Zone Zero's Impaired effect can be activated when a certain amount of damage is done to one part of an enemy. Bosses with multiple parts that take damage can be effectively Impaired by focusing your attacks on the part you want to destroy.
Aim for Another Part Once Destroyed
The Impaired effect can only be triggered once per body part. You can identify this by the visible damage. Once a part is destroyed, target a different area to apply the Impaired effect again.
Advantages of Impaired Effect
Causes Great Damage to the Enemy Body
Impaired effects vary depending on the enemy, but using them to destroy boss enemies will give you an advantage in battle, such as dealing significant damage to the enemy's main body and increasing Daze.
Movement and Stats Change
Some enemies do not display that they are Impaired, but if you keep attacking them, their appearance and stats will change. For example the Armored Hati's armor breaks, its behavior becomes more aggressive, and its DEF decreases.
