How to Activate Freeze
Accumulate Buildup with Ice Attacks
When you build up the Attribute Anomaly with Ice Attribute Attacks, you can cause a Freeze Anomaly. The buildup value is displayed on the right side of the enemy's HP bar, so if you’re aiming to inflict an Attribute Anomaly, be sure to check it while attacking.
Three Types of Effects Are Activated During Freeze
| Freeze | Immobilizes the target for a certain period of time |
|---|---|
| Frostbite | Increases the Critical DMG the target receives for a certain period of time |
| Shatter | Deal damage while interrupting the action when the freeze ends |
When Freeze is activated, the effects Freeze, Frostbite, and Shatter effects are triggered in order. After Freeze is applied, you can deal damage more efficiently by attacking with a character who has a high Crit Rate.

Stop Enemy Actions When Freeze Occurs
Enemies other than large ones will have their actions interrupted when they enter the Freeze state. The Freeze state lasts for about 3 seconds and is effective against most enemies as it is effective regardless of the enemy's Weaknesses Attribute or Type.
Large Boss can't be Frozen
Large bosses will not freeze. When you accumulate Ice Anomaly Buildup, the effects of Frostbite and Shatter described later will be activated, but you cannot stop the action.
Stun Gauge does not Decrease during Stun
If Freeze is activated during Stun, the Stun gauge will not be consumed while Freeze is in effect. Since it is Stunned, the Stun effect time will simply be extended by Freeze.
Frostbite Increases Crit DMG
When Freeze is activated, Frostbite will be granted. Attacking an enemy with Frostbite increases Crit DMG. The effect lasts for about 10 seconds after applying Freeze, so keep attacking while Frostbite is in effect.
Shatter Causes Damage After Freeze Ends
When Freeze ends, Shatter is activated and deals Ice Attribute damage. There is no need to take any specific action, damage will be applied automatically when Freeze ends.
How to Calculate Freeze (Shatter) Damage
Freeze (Shatter) Damage Depends on Anomaly Proficiency
Ice Shatter damage depends on the character's Anomaly Proficiency value. If a character with high Anomaly Proficiency applies Erosion, the damage will be greater. Keep in mind that characters that attack after applying Freeze will not affect Freeze damage.
Damage Changes Depending on the Proportion Given the Attribute Anomaly Value
When activating Shatter, if multiple characters inflict Ice DMG, the amount of damage will change depending on the ratio. When comparing the cases of one character with high Anomaly Proficiency and two characters with high Anomaly Proficiency and one with low Anomaly Proficiency, the Shatter damage will be lower in the latter case.

Strengthen an Ice Attribute Character
If you're aiming for Ice Resonance, make sure to include characters with the Ice Attribute in your team. Since different Skills have varying Ice Attribute effects, be sure to check the characteristics of the Skills possessed by your characters.

It's recommended to use Bangboo’s Additional Ability and Skills to support Ice Resonance. By including Bangboo, who greatly increases Ice Anomaly Buildup, you can more easily achieve the Ice Resonance state.

Raising a character's Anomaly Mastery makes it easier to charge Attribute Anomaly Buildup and allows you to apply Attribute Anomalies more quickly. Anomaly Mastery can be increased through specific W-Engines or Drive Disc VI main stats.
