Drive Disc - How to Get & Unlock

Farming Drive Discs

Carefull Select Drive Disc per Stats

Drive Discs all have random stats and they vary even if they're the same Drive Disc. In order to obtain one with more suitable stats, you will need to farm them.

Tips!Tips! We recommend farming Drive Discs after unlocking S-Rank Drive Discs.

Unlocked After Main Story Chapter 2

Unlocked After Clearing Main Story Chapter 2

Routine Cleanup is unlocked after completing Chapter 2 of the Main Story. It can be challenged by talking to Roland in the outpost, and from the Compendium.

How to Farm Routine Cleanup

Wait until Later in the Game

Low Priority for Laps Immediately After Unlocking

When you first unlock Routine Cleanup, you can only obatin A-Rank and B-Rank Drive Discs. Eventually, you will only want to use S-Rank Drive Discs instead of A-Rank and B-rank ones, so we recommend spending your Battery Charge on Simulation Battles and Expert Challenges until you can unlock S-Rank Drive Disks.

Check Specialty & Attribute of your Characters

Farm Based on Specialty & Attribute of the Characters

There are two types of Drive Disc effects: 2-pc effect, which is activated by equipping two of the same Disc types, and 4-pc effect which you can activate by equipping four of the same type. Basically you will be equipping them in sets of 2 or 4 to match you character's Specialty/Attribute, so choose which one to farm depending on which characters you are using.
