Level Up Bangboo First
Level Up to Increase Base Stats

Enhancing a Bangboo starts with increasing its level. As a Bangboo levels up, its base stats will increase. The EXP materials required for leveling up can be obtained mainly as rewards in Hollow Zero, so make sure to collect them beforehand.

The higher the rarity of the material, the more experience points you can get. As the Bangboo's level increases, the required experience points will also increase, so make sure to stock up on high-rarity materials.

When you unlock Bangboo's level cap, stats will increase significantly compared to just leveling up normally. Ascension (System Optimization) materials can be obtained at Hollow Zero, so do runs on it regularly to be able to strengthen your Bangboo efficiently.

Purchase or Exchange Items
If you need more materials, we also recommend purchasing them using Denny Credits in the Convenience Store. The "Concentrated Coolant" can be exchanged in the store with Bangbucks which you get when pulling the Bangboo Gacha.

Bangboo Core Update

If you obtain a Bangboo that you already have from the Gacha, it becomes a Bangboo Core and can be used to perform Core Updates. As you do Core Updates, your Bangboo's skill level will increase and you will be able to further strengthen your Bangboo.
No Items for Leveling Up Skills
Bangboo's skills do not have specific materials for leveling up. To enhance Bangboo's skills, you can only increase it through System Optimization and Core Updates.
How To Unlock Bangboo Upgrades
Go to the Remodeling Shop
If you want to enhance your Bangboo, you must go to the Remodeling Shop. You can either go directly on foot or fast travel by selecting Sixth Street → Remodeling Shop from the map.
Progress the Story to Unlock
The Remodeling Shop will be unlocked by progressing through Chapter 1 of the story. By unlocking it, you can obtain a Bagboo and the Bangboo Channel (Gacha) will also be unlocked.
Use Boopons to Pull the Bangboo Gacha
The Bangboo Channel lets you select any Featured Bangboo you prefer to add to your team. Your chosen Bangboo is guaranteed to appear after a specific number of pulls. You can obtain these special gacha tickets, or Boopons, through event rewards and other means.
