Soukaku's Strength
Can Gather Enemies, Buff ATK & Provide Ice Support
Soukaku can gather enemies, buff ATK and Ice DMG at the same time while providing Quick Assist to the next character with Fly the Flag which is activated by holding the (EX) Special Attack button. It can be used in many situations and the DMG buff is powerful. All those effects are a good match with any other Ice Attackers.
Point! | Nicole, who is also as Support character that gathers enemies, has a lower chance of taking damage but Soukaku can use Fly the Flag without consuming Energy. |
---|
High DMG and Daze
Soukaku can enhance DMG and Daze by consuming which lets her deal high damage and Daze. She is strong enough as a Sub-DPS even without ascending her but if you do, Frosted Banner becomes more powerful and will be able to act as an Attack character once you fully ascend her.
Soukaku's Weakness
Durability is Quite Low
Soukaku has many skills that require her to stop and endure attacks with Anti-Interrupt, and although she has a lot of damage reduction, she almost has no invincibility. ZZZ has very little healing methods, so long-term combat such as Hollow Zero might be harder if you're not careful.
Soukaku - Strategy and Combo
Change the Next Switching Character Depending on the Situation
Soukaku not only attacks with Quick Assist but also passes on the "Fly the Flag" Buff to the next character, so it's really important where you place her in the team. There are many Support Effects exclusive to Ice Attribute, so consider who you want the next character to be (or replace them) according to your group.
Team Placements/Next Character | |
---|---|
Attack Character | Most Common Strategy Best choice especially if you have an Ice Attack character |
Stun Character | For team with no Attack Agent Time spent in battle is long and it is easy to take advantage of it. |
Don't Switch | If you are the Attacker, utilize all Buffs for yourself by not switching characters |
Accumulate 3 Stacks of "Vortex" and Switch with "Fly the Flag"
When using Soukaku as a Support Character, store Energy and use EX Special Attack combo to get 3 stacks of "Vortex", then press and hold button to change characters with "Fly the Flag" and activate Quick Assist."Vortex” does not exceed 3 stacks, so once you have accumulated 3 stacks, quickly switch to the next character with “Fly the Flag”.
Tips! | If you are low on energy, it is a good idea to give up on doubling the ATK Buff of the 3rd level of "Vortex" and quickly replace it with "Fly the Flag". |
---|
When Attacking - Maintain "Frosted Banner"
When using her as an Attacker, maintain "Frosted Banner" and fight mainly with enhanced Basic Attack. It is necessary to switch to a Supporter when it ends, but it will be easier to maintain if you ascend the character.

Soukaku - Best Team Comp
Corin Team
Corin Support Team
Support Team with Corin as the main Attacker. Lycaon has very high Stun stats and Corin can deal high damage when the enemy is stunned. All characters can activate their Additional Abilities.
Use Corin after Enemy is Stunned
Corin doesn't have Anti-interrupt most of the time but can deal high damage when the enemy is stunned, so keep her out of battle and use Lycaon (and Soukaku) to stun the enemy first. Once you stun the enemy, use Fly the Flag then Quick Assist to switch to Corin.
Low Cost Gacha General Team
Replacing with Support Character
If you don't have Ellen or Lycaon, you can give up having the Additional Ability and replace them with Support characters. Use the basic strategy of Attack and Stun. Stun the enemy, then use Quick Assist to switch to a Support character, then use your Attack character.
Soukaku Attacker Team
Soukaku is the Main Attacker
Soukaku in the Frosted Banner state will be your main method of attacking. Use Fly the Flag to switch characters or continue fighting, depending on the number of Vortex and if the enemy is stunned for not.
3rd Character is Replaceable
In this example, we chose Ben as the 3rd character to endure enemy attacks, but you can also use Victoria Housekeeping Agents for the Additional Ability or another Support character.
Recommended Characters
Character | Recommendation |
---|---|
Lycaon | Recommend: - Additional Ability activates when another character in your squad shares the same Attribute - Increase Lycaon's DMG with Ice Support effect - Many choices for the 3rd character that can use additional ability |
Ellen | Recommend: - Additional Ability activates when another character in your squad shares the same Attribute - Great for Soukaku's Ice Support abilities - 3rd character tends to be Ice Attribute or have no additional ability |
Corin | Recommend: - Additional Ability activates when Lycaon is in your squad - Great match with Soukaku's ability to gather enemies and high damage output |
Ben | Recommend: - Use the shield for Lycaon, who tends to take damage frequently - Will not be able to activate additional ability most of the time |
Recommended Bangboo
Bangboo | Recommendation/Ranking |
---|---|
Sharkboo | Recommend: - Activate Additional Ability with 2 Ice Attributes - Assists in adding Ice Attribute Anomaly |
Penguinboo | Recommend: - Activate Additional Ability with 2 Ice Attributes - Assists in adding Ice Attribute Anomaly - Low rare version of Sharkboo |
Booressure | Recommend: - Activate Additional Ability with 1 Support - Helps restore energy - Chain Attack cannot be used |
Butler | Recommend: - Activate Additional Ability with 2 Victoria Housekeeping Co. Faction - Greatly recovers energy for allies! - Additional abilities can also be activated with Ellen included Parties |
