How to Unlock Trust Levels
Complete Anby's Problem in Chapter 2
Trust Levels are unlocked after completing Anby's Problem in Chapter 2. This will also unlock Contacts in the player's DM. The player will be able to increase the Trust Level of Agents they have contact with.
Increase Trust Before Unlocking the Event
For some of the Agents, you can increase Trust before unlocking the event above. For example, completing the Agent Story for Soldier 11 during Chapter 1 will unlock a conversation event that allows you to increase her Trust Level.
3 Requirements to Increase Trust Level
- Player obtained the Agent
- Agent is on the Partner Archive
- Complete Agent Story (Not All Agents)
Player Obtained the Agent
Trust Levels for Agents you don't have cannot be increased. However, as long as the player has the agent, the Trust Level can be increased regardless of their level or any other enhancements.
Agent is on the Partner Archive
Another requirement is for the Agent to be on the Partner Archive. Agents who have interacted with the main character during the story will be on Partner Archive, so you cannot increase the Trust Level for agents who have not appeared yet.
Some Require Completing Agent Story
Agents with their Agent Story in the Video Archive may require players to complete them first to increase their Trust Level.

Conversation Event
An Agent's Trust Level can be increased by starting a conversation event with them. The player can send a DM or find them in the city.
Trust Level can Increase or Decrease
Selecting the appropriate prompt will increase the Trust level but selecting the wrong one will make it decrease, so choose the prompt wisely.
Player can Only DM Up To 3 Agents
You can DM an Agent to start an event but this can only be done for 3 Agents a day, and you cannot repeat this with same agent in the same day.
Only Conversation Event Affects Trust Level
Trust Level only increases or decreases from Conversation Events, so it doesn't matter how many times the player used an Agent or enhanced them.
Always Talk to the Agent If You See Them
Each Agent will be walking around the city, and talking to them will start a conversation event just like sending them a DM. So makes sure to talk to them if you see them walking around.
DM Same Agent to Increase the Chances
DM the Same Agent multiple times to increase the chances of them appearing in the city. When this effect is active there will be a symbol next to them in the DM Contact list.
Check Trust Level in Partner Archive
Trust Level of each agent can be checked in the Partner Archive at the Workbench in your Video Shop. However, agents who haven't appeared in the story yet will not be in the Archive.
Also Check from the Agent Screen
You can also access the Partner Archive from the bottom left of the Agent screen. Agents who are not on the Partner Archive yet will be displayed as a Locked character.
Advantages of Increasing Trust Level
Increase Trust Rank
By completing conversation events and increasing the Trust Level you can increase their Trust Rank from Friendly, Close to Trusted. Having a higher Trust Rank will increase the chances of the Agent appearing in the city and be able to assign them to the Video Shop's Promoter position.
Agent Rank-Up Event
When the Trust Level reaches a certain point, the Agent Rank-Up Event will be unlocked. These conversation events are special events that are fully voiced.
Receive Agent Trust Rewards
Every time the Trust Rank increases, the player will receive Trust Rewards. The rewards include Polychrome, Dennys, and other rare items only obtainable from Trust Rewards.
Obtain Powerful Item for Hollow Zero
When the Trust Rank reaches "Close" rank, an exclusive item is unlocked for each Agent. These exclusive items will trigger an event that unlocks a Mindscape Cinema Skill, but only in Hollow Zero.
Get Wallpaper for the Main Menu
Once the Trust Rank reaches Trusted, a wallpaper that can be set on the main menu will be rewarded.
How to Unlock Agent Rank-Up Event
- DM Agent or find them in the City
- Talk and increase Trust Level
- Agent Rank-Up Event
- Trust Rank Increases
Send a DM to the Agent or talk to them if you see them walking around the city.
Select the appropriate prompt during the conversation event to increase their Trust Level. Selecting the wrong prompt may reduce their Trust Level. So make sure to read the dialogue carefully before selecting.
Repeat steps 1 - 2 until the Trust Level reaches a certain point, unlocking a new event. The current Trust Level can be checked from the Partner Archive.
Once their Trust Level reaches a certain point, the Agent Rank-Up Event will be unlocked. It is a simple event which is a fully voiced conversation with the Agent.
During the conversation, there will be some dialogue choices but it will not affect the outcome. Agent Rank-Up Events can be replayed later from the Partner Archive, and you can try the other dialogue choices to see how the conversation would go if you choose another prompt.
Once the player completes the Agent Rank-Up Event, the Agent's Trust Rank increases (The highest being Trusted). Also, make sure to collect Agent Trust Rewards from the Partner Archive.
