Burnice's Strength
Continuous Damage & Burn Effect
Burnice is an Anomaly character that can accumulate additional damage in addition to inflicting Burn when other allies attack. Since there's no need for her to enter battle again when Disorder or Burn disappears, she is an excellent combination with attackers who excel at staying in battle for extended periods of time.
Tips! | Burn is an Attribute Anomaly that deals continuous damage for approximately 10 seconds after being applied. Once applied, it automatically continues to deal damage without further action. |
---|
Great for Applying Disorder
Since Burnice can inflict Burn when she isn't on the field, it's easy to inflict Disorder while other Anomaly attackers are fighting. Its ability to apply Burn and prepare for follow-up attacks in a short time makes it a good combination with characters like Jane, who prefer to stay on the field longer.
Ultimate Allows Attacking Together with the Next Agent
Burnice's Ultimate allows for a Quick Assist swap to the next character while it is active. Burnice will continue to attack for a while after being switched, so you can do a lot of damage with simultaneous attacks from 2 characters during the best opportunities to attack, such as when the enemy is Stunned.
Burnice's Weakness
Difficult to Deal High Burst Damage
Burnice's Burn deals continuous damage for 10-13 seconds after being applied. It is difficult to produce high burst damage and you cannot stack the Anomaly Proficiency increase, so it is difficult to use her as the main attacker.
Tips! | The combined damage is quite high, so you should be able to deal significant damage when you arrange a team focusing on Disorder. |
---|
Difficult to Use Damage Buffs from Allies
Burnice's additional damage references Burnice's own stats, making it hard to utilize ATK Buffs from characters like Caesar. If you want to focus on Burn damage, it would be better to use debuffs against enemies or buffs for the whole team.
Burnice - Strategy and Combo
Recover Heat & Apply Scorched
Burnice generates damage while other Agents are fighting, so use Energy to accumulate Heat and use various attacks to inflict "Scorched" on enemies. Additional damage can only be activated by other allies, so it is recommended that you switch characters after "Scorching" them.
Switch Just Before Heat Runs Out
To build up Heat, using the second hit of the EX Special Attack is recommended. It's best to hold the Basic Attack and consume Heat to activate it, but as long as you have even a little Heat, you can fully execute the Basic Attack so try to switch characters just before using it all up.
Tips! | If you run out of Heat and the buff runs out, use the EX Special Attack's first hit. |
---|
Burnice's Best Combo
1. | Enter battle just before Heat runs out |
---|---|
2. | Hold Basic ATK button until Finishing Move |
3. | Use EX Special Attack 2nd hit to recover Heat & inflict Scorched |
4. | Swap to an ally and attack the enemy in "Scorched" state |
【Tips!】 For Step 2, it is OK even if you temporarily run out of energy. If you don't have Heat when you enter battle, you can start by using EX Special ATK 1st hit instead. |
Stun Enemy, Use Ultimate & Quick Assist
If you have Decibels accumulated when the enemy is Stunned, use Burnice's Ultimate then switch to the Attacker using Quick Assist. By switching, the Ultimate's attack time will also be extended, so you can aim for massive damage and Disorder at the same time.

Recommended W-engine
W-Engine | Recommendation |
---|---|
Flamemaker Shaker | Recommendation: - Burnice's Signature W-Engine - Increases damage output and maintains Anomaly Proficiency buff even while off-field - Can replenish the often insufficient energy supply |
Fusion Compiler | Recommendation: - The combination of three offensive buffs is powerful - High base ATK enables strong damage output - Fully activating Anomaly Proficiency can be a challenge |
Electro-Lip Gloss | Recommendation: - Increases the wielder’s stats when enemies are under an anomaly - Deals high damage through Burn effects - Easy to use without needing to pay attention to activation conditions, which is a key advantage |
Weeping Gemini | Recommendation: - When team members inflict an anomaly on enemies, Anomaly Proficiency increases - The effect is extremely strong when fully activated - Although it lacks stability, the burst damage potential is impressive |
Rainforest Gourmet | Recommendation: - ATK increases based on energy consumption - Constantly raises Anomaly Proficiency, which is a great asset - A downside is that the effect can wear off quickly while off-field |
[Magnetic Storm] Bravo | Recommendation: - W-Engine specialized in boosting Anomaly Proficiency - Its B-rarity makes it easy to obtain and upgrade - Since its firepower is modest, it’s a good temporary option until you acquire a better W-Engine |
Burnice - Best Team Comp
Jane Disorder Team
Bangboo | |||
---|---|---|---|
Jane | Caesar | Burnice | Red Moccus |
Deal DMG while Jane Fights
This is a setup that allows Jane to continue dealing damage while on the field for a long time, using the "Afterburn" effect for follow-up attacks from behind. You can inflict Disorder multiple times with Burn while Jane is in play, and with Caesar's Shield you can provide buffs and reduce damage while Burnice is in battle.
Attack with Jane until Heat runs out
Once you have have the Shield and inflicted Scorched, use Jane's attack and Burnice's additional damage to deal as much damage as possible and inflict Disorder. Keep an eye on Burnice's remaining Heat and switch to Burnice just before it runs out to accumulate Heat again.
Sons of Calydon Disorder Team
Bangboo | |||
---|---|---|---|
Burnice | Piper | Lucy | Red Moccus |
Burnice and Piper's Disorder & Team Buff
This is a composition that combines Burnice and Piper's Disorder with Lucy's buff for the whole team. Lucy's buff also affects Burnice's "Afterburn" damage output, so you can effectively increase Burn damage.
Tips! | If you have C6 Lucy, you can accumulate Fire Attribute Anomaly and extend the Buff by using the boars that rain down while holding Piper or Burnice's EX Special Attack button. |
---|
Use Piper's Buff and Scorch
After activating Lucy's Buff and Burnice's follow-up attack damage, you can inflict Disorder with Piper's EX Special attack. Piper is more likely to run out of energy than Burnice, so if you have the energy, you can also hold Burnice's Basic attack button to apply Burn.
Recommended Characters
Character | Recommendation/Rating |
---|---|
Jane | Recommended Level - Additional Ability activated for both with the same Specialty -High damage & high Attribute Anomaly to inflict Disorder - Can support each other when not in battle |
Piper | Recommended Level - Same faction, Additional Ability activated for both - Activate Disorder by quickly inflicting Assault - High Stun is also a plus |
Caesar | Recommended Level - Same faction, Additional Ability activated for both - Damage increase and the Shield when entering battle is useful - Note that the ATK Buff is only active when in battle |
Lucy | Recommendation Level - Same faction, Additional Ability activated for both - ATK Buff is effective even when not in battle - At C6, continuous follow-up attack during EX Special Attack |
Grace | Recommended Level - Anomaly character that can activate Burnice's Additional Ability - Can inflict Disorder with high Attribute Anomaly of both characters. |
Seth | Recommended Level - Uses Shield & Anomaly Mastery buff - When applied to Burnice, buff stays active even when not in battle - Additional Ability activation is the problem |
Burnice, who is powerful when focused on inflicting Disorder, is a great match with Anomaly characters sucn as Jane. For support, it's best to have characters that provide buffs for the whole squad or those skilled in supporting Anomaly characters, including Burnice.
Recommended Bangboo
Bangboo | Recommendation/Rating |
---|---|
Red Moccus | Recommended Level - Additional Ability activated with 2 Calydon Factions - High Physical damage - Can also gather enemies |
Rocketboo | Recommendation Level - Additional Ability activation with 2 Fire Attributes - Assist with Fire Attribute Anomaly |
Cryboo | Recommendation Level - Additional Ability activated with 2 Fire Attributes - Assist with Fire Attribute Anomaly - Low rarity version of Rocketboo |
Magnetiboo | Recommended Level - Additional Ability automatically activated with 1 Anomaly - Can also gather enemies |
If you have to use two Fire characters in the Burnice Team Comp, we recommend Fire Attribute Anomaly-type Bangboos to focus on applying Disorder. Other possible candidates are Cryboo/Magnetiboo, who can gather enemies, or an Attribute Anomaly Bangboo that matches the Anomaly character you are using.

Chain Attack | |
Core Skill |
Prioritise leveling up the Core Skill related to the Afterburn effect (additional damage), as well as the frequently used Special Skill. Next, focus on leveling up the Chain Attack that boost the damage of the Ultimate. As for the remaining skills, level them up based on your available resources.
Skill Effect
Basic Attack: Direct Flame Bend
Press to activate: Unleashes up to 5 attacks in front, dealing Physical DMG and Fire DMG.
Basic Attack: Mixed Flame Blend
In the Nitro-Fuel Cocktail state, hold to activate:Spin continuously while spraying flames around, followed by a Finishing Move that inflicts Fire DMG. Continuing to hold extends the flame-spraying duration. When the move is activated, it consumes 20 Heat; Anti-Interrupt level is increased while using this skill. After executing the Finishing Move, press to immediately follow up with EX Special Attack: Intense Heat Stirring Method - Double Shot.
Best Mindscape Cinema for Burnice
Effect and Recommended Mindscape Cinema
C1 | Kindred Flames Increases the limit of Heat from 100 to 140. Upon entering the battlefield, Burnice accumulates an additional 40 Heat.Increases the DMG Multiplier of the Afterburn effect by 100% of Burnice's ATK. Additionally, the accumulated Fire Anomaly Buildup from the Afterburn effect is increased by 25%. |
---|---|
C2 | Extra at No Additional Charge When triggering the Afterburn effect, Thermal Penetration is applied to the enemy, stacking up to 5 times and lasting 6s. Repeated triggers reset the duration. When any allied unit in the squad hits the enemy, the attack's PEN Ratio is increased by 4% for each stack of Thermal Penetration, up to a max of 20%. |
C3 | Optimistic by Nature Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2 |
C4 | Ultimate Fuel Supply When an EX Special Attack or Assist Attack hits an enemy, the move's CRIT Rate increases by 30%. The max flame spray duration of EX Special Attack: Intense Heat Stirring Method - Double Shot is increased by 1s. |
C5 | Dance of Fire and Ice Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2 |
C6 | Burning Invitation When Burnice hits an enemy with EX Special Attack: Intense Heat Stirring Method - Double Shot, it triggers an additional special Afterburn effect, dealing 60% of Burnice's ATK as Fire DMG to the target. This effect can trigger once every 0.5s and does not consume Heat. After hitting an enemy with EX Special Attack: Intense Heat Stirring Method - Double Shot, while the move is active, EX Special Attack: Intense Heat Stirring Method - Double Shot, special Afterburn effects, and Burn effects will ignore 25% of the target's Fire RES. When EX Special Attack: Intense Heat Stirring Method - Double Shot's fire blast hits an enemy, if that enemy is Burned, trigger an additional instance of Burn DMG equal to 1,800% of the original DMG. This effect can trigger once every 20s for each target. |
C1 is Highly Recommended
The recommended Cinema for Burnice is C1, which enhances utility by increasing the Heat cap and boosts the damage/Burn effect of the Afterburn ability. While C2's constant PEN rate increase is also powerful, it's best to aim for C1 first, as it provides significant benefits to any team composition.
C2's PEN buff is particularly strong when stacked, so Burnice's value may increase with the introduction of future PEN supporters.
Prioritise Signature W-Engine over Cinema
Burnice's signature W-Engine, Flamemaker Shaker, helps recover scarce energy and triggers a damage buff even off-field. It allows for consistent and effortless buff maintenance, making it a top priority over increasing Cinemas for Burnice.
