Shock Activation and Effects
Accumulate Anomaly Buildup with Electric Attribute Attacks
You can shock enemies by accumulating Anomaly Buildup with Electric Attribute attacks. The accumulated value is displayed on the right side of the enemy's HP bar, so if you are aiming for Attribute Anomaly, be sure to check it before attacking.
Shock Can Lasts for about 10 Seconds
The duration of the Shock state is approximately 10 seconds. When the Shock state ends, the Anomaly Buildup will be reset, so you will need to build it up again.
Deals Additional Damage when Attacking
You can get an additional damage from the Electric Attribute if you attack a Shocked enemy again. Additional damage occurs approximately every second and continues until the Shock status is removed.
You Can't Attack when the Damage is 0
Additional damage due to the Shock state will not occur unless you attack. After putting enemies in Shock state, attack aggressively and move around so that you can continue to deal damage.
Interrupt the Actions of Enemies with an Electric Attribute Weakness upon Activation
Enemies with the Electric Attribute as their Weaknesses will have their actions interrupted when they are in a Shock state. You can check the enemies' Weakness Attributes in Phaethon's Archive, so be sure to verify them.

How to Calculate Shock Damage
Shock Damage depends on Anomaly Proficiency
Shock damage depends on the character's Anomaly Proficiency value. Applying Shock to a character with high Anomaly Proficiency will result in greater damage. Note that characters attacking after applying Shock will not affect the Shock damage.
Damage Changes Depending on the Proportion Given the Attribute Anomaly Value
When applying Shock, if multiple characters use Electric DMG, the amount of damage will change depending on the ratio. Comparing the cases of "one character with high Anomaly Proficiency" and "two characters with high Anomaly Proficiency and one with low Anomaly Proficiency", the latter has lower Shock damage.
Tips to Use Shock Efficiently
Cultivate 2 or more Electric Attribute Characters
If you want to aim for Shock, it's recommended to have two or more characters with the Electric Attributes. Since Electric Attribute attacks vary by character, be sure to check the skills of the characters you have.
Recommended Anomaly Specialty Characters
Cultivate an Anomaly Specialty character to apply Shock efficiently. Since the Anomaly Mastery number, which influences the accumulation efficiency of Attribute Anomaly, is high, you can accumulate Attribute Anomaly faster than with other Specialty characters. Additionally, with high Anomaly Proficiency, you can deal damage more effectively after using Shock.
Anomaly Specialty Characters ListUtilize Bangboo to Assist in Giving Shock
We recommend supporting Shock with Bangboo's Additional Abilities and Skills. If you organize Bangboo, which greatly increases Electric Anomaly Buildup such as Plugboo, it will be easier to enter Shock state.
Best Bangboo Tier ListStrengthen Anomaly Mastery
Increasing your character's Anomaly Mastery will make it easier to accumulate Attribute Anomaly, allowing you to grant Attribute Anomaly faster. Anomaly Mastery can be raised with certain W-Engines and Drive Discs.
Anomaly Proficiency GuideTips! | An effect similar to Anomaly Mastery is Attribute Anomaly Buildup efficiency. This has been confirmed to be activated with Piper's W-Engine. |

Rina's Additional Ability Can Extend the Effect Time
If any character applies Shock while Rina is on the team, the duration of the Shock state will be extended by 3 seconds. It also has the effect of increasing the squad's Electric DMG by 10% when there is an enemy in the Shock state, so it is powerful if you can form a Shock specialty team.
