Head North From Castle Morne Rampart
The Impaler's Catacombs can be reached by heading north from Caste Morne Rampart. There is a Site of Grace along the way, so be sure to unlock it.

Route To Trap
- Go down three flights of stairs and head left.
- Head straight and take the road on the right.
- Head down the stairs, get off the trap a bit and head back quickly.
- Jump down as the floor rises.
Route To Boss
- When you get downstairs, go straight ahead and turn right when you exit the corridor.
- Go a little further and turn right when you see a wall in front of you.
- Climb up the ladder and pull the lever.
- Follow the path and jump through the small window.
- Go through the door on the left to get to the boss area.

Defeat The Imps First
In the boss battle, there will be a total of four imp enemies. On each side, two will be waiting for you, so go to one side and dispatch them quickly. Remove the remaining two while keeping an eye on the Erdtree Burial Watchdog's movements.
Long-Ranged Attacks Make It Easier
The Erdtree Burial Watchdog moves really slow and has a small attack range. They can be easily attacked from a distance , so try to use long-ranged attacks by using sorceries, incantations, and bows.
Use Strike Weapons If You Prefer Close-Range
The Erdtree Burial Watchdog is weak to the striking affinity. If you prefer fighting it at close-range, you can use striking weapons to deal more damage.
