Obtained From A Traveling Carriage In The Weeping Peninsula
The Morning Star can be obtained through a traveling horse-drawn carriage in the Weeping Peninsula. The carriage is located in the east of the peninsula from the Limgrave region.
Watch Out For Enemies
There are enemies guarding the traveling carriage, so proceed with caution especially they have dogs that will see you immediately. If you engage you could alert the enemies but if you choose to do it quietly, your enemies wouldn't know what hit them. You can also defeat the dogs first then the enemies.
The Morning Star Can Be Obtained Early In The Game
The weapon can be obtained in the early stages of the game, you don't have to open the chest, just grab the weapon and make a run for it.
