Should you pull Ellen or Zhu Yuan?
Better to get Zhu Yuan before Ellen
Ellen is also very powerful who also happens to be an Ice Attack character that can attack many enemies' weaknesses, but the drawback is that it's difficult to assemble a team that can fully utilize her potential. Zhu Yuan on the other hand can be included in various teams, so if you have to choose between pulling Ellen or Zhu Yuan, we recommend trying to get Zhu Yuan.
Zhu Yuan is also a Valuable Ether Character
Zhu Yuan is the first Ether Attack character. In some high difficulty challenges like Shiyu Defense, there are some enemies that are weak against Ether but it was difficult to take advantage of this with Nicole alone.
Zhu Yuan will give you more options when building a team so getting her should be the highest priority.

Ellen is a high-firepower attacker who dashes to move at high speed. High-speed dashes make it easy to move and deal with distant enemies, and by using follow-up dash attacks, you can continuously perform powerful attacks while sustaining 'Frozen Power'.
Ellen Best BuildSecure Ellen as an Attacker
Ellen is an Attack Character who can deal a large amount of damage and she'll make a big difference if you obtain her early on. She is a good match with Lycaon and Rina, who are obtainable from the Permanent Banner. Their Ice + Electric combination is highly recommended.
Can Pull Enemies and Defeat Weaker Enemies with Ease
Almost all of Ellen's attacks have a wide range, making her adept at defeating multiple weaker enemies at once. Additionally, the third hit of the Basic Attack has a pulling effect that gathers enemies together, making her attacks effective in both boss battles and regular enemy encounters.

Get Ellen's Signature W-Engine before C1
Ellen's Signature W-Engine, Deep Sea Visitor, greatly increases Ice damage and Crit Rate. Both effects work really well with Ellen and the damage output makes a huge difference when compared to using an A-Rank W-Engine instead so you should prioritize getting the signature weapon than trying to get C1.
Get Signature W-Engine Later if you Want C2
For those who can't decide whether to get the signature weapon for Ellen or C2, getting C2 to access Ellen's massive firepower can also be an option. If you manage to get both the signature weapon and C2, Ellen will become unstoppable in any battle.
