Ring of Protection Rating

Ring of Protection (DEF-up) is recommended for characters that greatly benefit from increased Defense, such as those whose heal amounts or Barrier durability increase with Defense. If Uncommon-tier or higher rings are in short supply, it can also be used simply as a durability boost.

Ring of Protection Stats

Accessory stats increase All Attack, Defense, and HP for all Ranks. If you are equipping accessories for stats, prioritize higher Rank over higher Rarity.

Defense-stat rings can be used when you don't have Legendary or Rare accessories yet and want to boost durability. Once you obtain Legendary or Rare accessories, those take higher equip priority.

Recommended Heroes for Ring of Protection

Lucy, Evan, and More

Ideal for heroes where raising Defense increases healing output, like Lucy, or increases Barrier durability, like Evan. Defense-type heroes also tend to pair well with it.

Recommended Refining and Crafting for Ring of Protection

Better Used as Refinement Material

Rather than Refinement something onto Ring of Protection, it is generally recommended to use Ring of Protection as material when Refinement Ring of Bulwark or a Legendary ring.

If you need to use Ring of Protection as-is due to a ring shortage, Refinement Ring of Bulwark or Ring of Nature is a safe and versatile choice.

Random Conversion requires fewer materials

Fixed Conversion lets you obtain a specific ring, but requires more material rings. With Random Conversion, the ring obtained is random but requires fewer materials, so Random Conversion is recommended unless you are targeting a specific ring.

Mog (up to 30% UP)	Doo (up to 10% UP)

Nightmare uses a 2-round format that requires 2 parties. By including Mog or Doo in one of your parties, you can boost the accessory drop rate.

Point!	Doo can be obtained through Pet Conversion. Mog and Doo's effects do not stack, so only bring one of them.
