What are Chaos and Oblivion Essences
Used to Reconfigure Equipment
Chaos and Oblivion Essence are used in Reconfigure Equipment, a feature that allows you to reroll sub-stats and reset enhancement levels on your equipment. This feature can be accessed through Upgrade Equipment → Reconfigure Equipment

Reroll Equipment Substat
The Reroll Equipment Substats function allows players to re-randomize an equipment substat using Chaos Essence, while retaining the total enhancement levels. Only equipment of 6★ grade or higher can be rerolled.
Can Lock Substat
Before rerolling, you can lock one substat. Locking a substat increases the cost, and its type and enhancement level will remain unchanged.

Reset Equipment Enhancement Level
Reset Equipment Enhancement Level is a function that allows players to revert an equipment’s enhancement level back to +0 using Oblivion Essence, providing another opportunity to unlock more favorable substats. Only 6★ with enhanced +3 or higher equipment can be reset.
| Note! | The substats added by the enhancement level increase will be removed. While enhancement will reset to +0, any Gold previously spent will not be refunded. |

How to Obtain and Farm
Obtained from Raids
Both Chaos and Oblivion Essences can be obtained from Raids at Difficulty 11 or higher, allowing you to farm equipment while earning essences.

Best Equipment to Reroll
It is best to reroll equipment with Chaos Essence when a piece of gear has zero or one good substat. This gives you a higher chance of obtaining preferred substats. It is recommended to lock a substat if it is a highly sought after stat with good enhancements.
Best Equipment to Reset
It is best to reset equipment with Oblivion Essence when a piece of gear has two or three good substats without enhancement. This allows you to retain the good substats while having a chance to obtain an ideal fourth stat.
