Progress Through Ranni Questline

Can Also Progress Through Deeproot Depths

The sarcophagus in Deeproot Depths can be used to move to Ainsel River Main. However, in order to get to Deeproot Depths, you will need to beat the Valiant Gargoyle in Nokron, Eternal City. It's easier to warp from Renna's Rise if you are advancing through Ranni's Questline.

Map Fragment Is In Ainsel River

Areas that cannot be reached from the Portal (Gateway) can only be reached from the Ainsel River Well side. The map fragment is in Ainsel River Well so if you have not collected it yet, it's best to get it first.

The Ainsel River Map Fragment can be looted from a corpse in a building in the ruins. The path from there has strong enemies within so make sure to only proceed when you unlock the Site of Grace along the way.

Go Along The River To The Lake Of Rot

After moving along the river from Nosktella, Eternal CIty, you will reach the Lake of Rot. The boss Astel, Naturalborn of the Void can be reached via the sarcophagus in the Grand Cloister at the end of the Lake of Rot.

1. Start From The Site Of Grace: Ainsel River Main

2. Go Straight From The Site Of Grace

3. Go Through The Gate On The Right

4. Go Straight From The Gate

5. Head Inside The Cave

6. Follow The Current Of The Water

7. You Will Reach The Gate. Enter Through The Door On The Left

8. Head Down The Step

9. Arrive At The Site Of Grace: Nokstella, Eternal City

Be Careful Of Enemies' Rock Attacks

In the ruins, there are enemies that will attack with rocks from a distance. You can avoid the attacks by hiding behind walls, pillars, and other obstructions. Always be aware of exploring. Try to defeat them if you can because they drop Somber Smithing Stone [7].

2. From The Site Of Grace, Go Straight And Head Towards The River

3. Proceed Along The River

4. You Will See A Building On Your Left, Head Inside

5. Enter The Building

6. Ride The Lift

7. Reach The Site Of Grace: Nokstella Waterfall Basin

Golden Seed In Ainsel River (Nokstella)

At The High Ground Off The Far End Of Nokstella, Eternal City

Location	Directions

From the Site of Grace: Nokstella, Eternal City, head through the buildings to the innermost part. Head down the side of the innermost building and use the lift to head further down to find the Golden Seed.

2. Move To The Left Before The Ruins

3. Get The Stonesword Key From The Corpse In Front Of The Giant Flower

4. Get The Spirit Ashes: Clayman Ashes From The Body At The End Of The Giant Flower

5. Proceed Through The Passage Behind The Hanging Enemy

6. Turn Left At The Branch Of The Cave

7. When you reach the cliff, turn right

8. Walk Past The Item And Take The Left Path Forward

9. Obtain The Wing Of Astel From The Treasure Chest At The End Of The Path

4. Go Up The Stairs Further To The Left

5. Go Down The Passageway At The Right End Of The Building On Your Left

6. Get The Spirit Ash: Archer Ashes From The Body In The Back, The Return To The Building

7. Obtain The Ghost-Glovewort Picker Bell Bearing From A Box In The Building

8. Go Further

9. Take the Somber Smithing Stone [7]

10. Pass The Bridge Going To The Right And Then To The Far Left

11. Nightmaiden & Swordstress Puppets Are In Sealed Room WIth Imp Seal Statue

12. Cross The Bridge And Get The Great Ghost Glovewort At The Building On The Right


When the Iron Ball rolls down the stairs and the Iron Ball in the building is defeated, a Larval tear will drop.

13. Exit The Buildings And Go Up The Stairs

14. Enter The Building Right After You Go Up

15. Defeat The Silver Enemey And The Iron Ball, Then Proceed Outward From The Back Left


When the Iron Ball is defeated, it will drop the Larval Tear.

16. Go Down The Street To The Building To The Back

17. Defeat The Enemey And Get The Moon of Nokstella From The Treasure Chest At The Back

18. Return To The Site Of Grace And Continue Down The Road

19. Go Under The Bridge To The Far Right

20. Obtain The Stonesword Key From The Body At The Edge Of The Cliff
