Attack With Magic Or Blunt Weapons

The Stonedigger Trolls have hard bodies, making slashing and piercing weapons do minimum damage. It is recommended to use magic and blunt weapons against them.

Use Two-Handed Weapons If You Don't Have Magic / Blunt Weapons

If you don't have any magic or blunt weapons with you, you can use two-handed weapons instead.

How To Avoid Attacks

Avoid its swinging attack by dodge rolling
Go behind it when it begins to charge up five successive strikes

Avoid Its Swinging Attack By Dodge Rolling

This swinging attack generates a shockwave on the ground and can damage the rear side as well. Use the invincibility window (i-frames) of dodging to avoid it. If you can get under the Troll, you can get the chance to launch a counterattack for 1-2 strikes.

Go Behind It When It Begins To Charge Up Five Successive Strikes

This attack generates a shockwave that covers a wide range, making it difficult to avoid because of the size of the area. It will roar before attacking, so get behind it as soon as you hear it roar.
