Alabaster Lord's Sword - Location & How To Get

Defeat the Alabaster Lord in the Lake of Rot after clearing the puzzle

Dropped By Alabaster Lord

Dropped By Alabaster Lord

The Alabaster Lord's Sword are dropped by Alabaster Lord in the Lake of Rot region and Yelough Anix Tunnel. We recommend to obtain it at the Lake of Rot where you can get to early though you'll need to solve a puzzle first that involves switches that you'll need to step on to proceed unharm from the Lake's Scarlet Rot.

There is a switch on the Lake of Rot which can get you across safely without getting the effects of the Scarlet Rot. Once you've stepped on 4 switches, the Albaster Lord's location will appear. You can also obtain Somber Smithing Stone (9) from a corpse at the exact location, so don't forget to pick it up.

Proceed With Ranni's Questline

To get to the Lake of Rot, it's recommended that you go to straight to Ainsel River, which can be reached by warp transporter from Renna's Rise. However, you can't enter it if you haven't progressed through Ranni's questline.. Therefore, you'll need to do Ranni's questline first to gain access to Renna's Rise.
