Should You Pull for O'Mok and Rin?

Pull for O'Mok to Strengthen Magic Teams

O'Mok is a supporter and attacker that you definitely want to include in a magic team. As an excellent hero, those looking to strengthen their magic team should take this opportunity to pull for her.

Aim for at least T2, Ideally T6

At Transcendence 2, O'Mok gains Guts and generates a Barrier when Guts is triggered, significantly increasing her durability. At Transcendence 6, her Skill 2 gains a Defense Ignore effect, making her even better as an attacker. Therefore, T2 is the minimum requirement, but T6 is ideal for PvP.

Rin is a Strong Option for PvP

Rin is an offensive debuffer and Weakness attacker capable of preventing debuffs and critical hits by inflicting Confusion, while also reducing the enemy's Weakness Hit Chance. If you want to increase your team's survivability in the current Weakness-heavy PvP environment, she is worth pulling.

Transcendence is Beneficial, but O'Mok is Higher Priority

At T2, Rin gains Damage Nullification upon reviving, and at T6, she gains a Cooldown Reset when defeating an enemy with Skill 1. While the benefits of Transcendence are significant, O'Mok remains a higher priority for the purpose of strengthening magic teams.

O'Mok is an excellent supporter and attacker for magic-based parties, and is especially effective in PvP. She is definitely one of the characters you should include in your magic party.

Rin's confusion debuffs are powerful, making her usable in both PvP and PvE. She has two types of attacks that hit four targets, and at T6 she can also activate skills consecutively, making her a viable PvE attacker.

O'Mok's Impact on the Meta

Magic Teams Strengthened

The arrival of O'Mok is expected to significantly strengthen magic teams. In addition to being a counter to Mist, her strength lies in using Teo's common Buff Duration Reduction against him triggering Damage Immunity and Crowd Control Immunity via Guardian Spirit to block incoming attacks.

Tank Teams May Face Challenges

O'Mok's HP Alteration against high-defense heroes is particularly effective against units like Radgrid. As magic teams become more prevalent, tank teams may become more difficult to use than before.

Rin's Impact on the Meta

Mitigating Damage

Rin's ability to prevent critical and Weakness hits is a major advantage for reducing the firepower of high-DPS physical teams. Since Confusion cannot be blocked by Randgrid, it is also effective against physical teams as it is unlikely to be removed unless by Kagura's Debuff Removal.

Pet Yorang Gains Value

When combined with the pet Yorang introduced in the previous update, you can reduce the enemy's Weakness Hit Chance by up to approximately 75%. Since the boost to 4-5 target skill damage also synergizes well, using Yorang alongside Rin is highly recommended.

In terms of HP Alteration and AoE attacks, Freyja can serve as an alternative. For boosting the Magic Attack of allies, Yeonhee is another option. However, O'Mok's Guardian Spirit effect remains unique.
