The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault Overview
Event Period | Nov 6 after update ~ Dec 17 03:59 (Server Time) *The Arpeggio Great Fault is being made permanent |
---|---|
Requirements | - Complete Qualification Assessment: Edge in Hollow Zero |
Explore the Monitor Array Map and Head for the Bottom Levels
The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault is an event that explores the Monitor Array and aims for the bottom layer (100F). Since the event period is long, it will take time to complete all the tasks at once, so it is recommended to progress gradually.
Note | The system mechanic is similar to the Investigation quest "The Prophecy" |
---|
Battles Are Also Conducted Using Monitor Array
Unlike the Basic Hollow Zero, in the The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault, not only Events but also battles are conducted in Monitor Array mode. There is no requirement for character progression and the participation requirements are light, so even beginners can easily participate and progress to the end.
You Can Also Get Limited Bangboo as a Reward!
In addition to Polychromes and various Enhancement Materials, you can also obtain and complete the limited Knightboo A-Rank Bangboo as a limited time reward for the The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault.
You Can Still Participate in the Event Itself Even After the Period Ends
Although limited-time rewards including Knightboo will no longer be available after the event ends, the The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault itself will be made permanent. There are also hidden events and additional exploration, so it might be worth trying after the event period ends.
The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault Strategy Tips
- Just move forward and aim to clear stage first
- The Tech Tree is Constantly Being Unlocked and Updated
L Leave the nodes behind - The team comp strategy corresponds to the area based on the Base Stats
- One Anby is enough for the initial Companions in the early stages
└You can release more and more points as you accumulate them - Be sure not to overlook the hidden area before the exit
L Passwords and lost items may be discovered
Just Move Forward and Aim to Clear Stage First
Each random stage in the The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault has a fixed map, and there are no irreversible elements. You can come back for items and collect them later when your forces are in place, so it's best to just move forward first.
The Tech Tree is Constantly Being Unlocked and Updated
The Crimson Silk collected on each stage is only for refreshing nodes which cannot be undone, so you can use it without leaving anything behind. However, you can shorten the process when collecting the last hidden event if you leave the node buffs behind.
The Team Formation Strategy Corresponds to the Area Based on the Base Stats
It’s recommended to choose the buff that is unlocked according to each area. At the start, use the Battle Expertise buff, and then switch to others as you unlock them while progressing. Since it synergizes with each stage system (area buffs), it will make progress easier.
Unlock Additional Companions as Soon as You Accumulate Contribution Points
The Contribution Points obtained by clearing a stage can be exchanged to use agents at the beginning of the stage and increase the number of team slots. At first, you can use Anby as additional support, and then unlock any characters you like as you accumulate enough Contribution Points.
Recommended Unlocked Characters | |
---|---|
Soldier 11 | Initial ATK/HP is high (growth potential is low) Useful for breaking through in the early stages and combining with other teammates in the late-game |
Nekomata | Collect gear coins with each attack Accelerates early-game progression and the combination with Companions and Resonia Collection is excellent |
Nicole | ATK increases according to the amount of coins you have It has excellent synergy with stages where gear coins tend to accumulate in the mid to late game |
Be Careful of Hidden Areas Before the Exit
In front of the stage exit, there may be hidden areas containing passwords and lost items. If you miss something, you'll need to explore again, so it's a good idea to search the Exit room more thoroughly.
Tips! | Sometimes, as soon as you step on the Exit space, the nearby hidden space will be revealed |

How to Use Passwords (Hidden Events)
Obtain Passwords From Hidden Areas Along the Way
Special Outpost beacon areas may be found in hidden spaces along the way. If you speak to the mysterious Bangboo, it will give you a mysterious password. If you want to solve the mystery on your own, be sure to explore the previous stages.
Unlock Hidden Events Using the Password as a Hint
The password is a hint for the additional exploration device in the final game. If you solve the mystery, you can access the hidden events. The process is a bit complicated and time-consuming, but if you're interested, please refer to the steps below.
Hidden Events Unlock Conditions
- [Optional] Confirm password
- Advance the The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault to the final additional exploration
- Activate 7 Nodes from the Tech Tree
L The best way to collect the Crimson Silk is at the Laboratory Ruins and EXP Build-Up team buffs - Enter the 99F-B Floor in the Laboratory Ruins and destroy the right wall
- Open all crates with lights on the right
L It's fine as long as it takes the shape of a CHESS BOARD - Clear after hidden Events
Look for hidden Bangboos in various locations as you explore. However, if you know the answer, there is no problem, so feel free to skip it.
Clear the The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault up to the Turbulent Corridor and proceed until the event is released.
Hidden Events require you to use up to 7 buffs, so try to unlock and equip a total of 7 Nodes from the Tech Tree.
Tips! | To get the necessary Crimson Silk, we recommend opening the treasure crate at the Laboratory Ruins and EXP Build-Up team buffs |
---|
When you enter the Laboratory Ruins 99F-B, use the bomb you have to destroy the wall on the right and proceed. Once you have used up the seven items you secured earlier, the path to the hall will open.
When you arrive at the hall, open all the crates with the lights on the right side. If you leave only the one on the left of the lit crates, the password "CHESS BOARD" will appear and the special cutscene will start.
