The Simulated Battle Trial (Endless Tower) challenge can be accessed in the HIA Headquarters (HIA Club). The first time you enter, you will talk to Kylie near the automatic door on the left. From the second time and onward, you can take the challenge yourself by manually after talking to Kylie.

You Can Select Up to 10 Characters You Want to Use

In the Simulated Battle Trial, you can select up to 10 characters for your formation, but only 3 characters will actually be on field in the battle. On each phase consisting of 5 floors, you have 10 characters to choose from, and the characters you will use in the battle can be selected on each floor.

Up to 3 Bangboo Can Be Added to the Party

You can have up to three Bangboo in your team, although you can select one to use in battle each time. Choose up to 3 Bangboos that best fit your 10-member team.

Team Condition Carried Over to the Next Battle

The character's HP and Energy will carry over until you reach the end of the phase. Downed characters cannot be used again until you reach the checkpoint, so it’s important to form your team based not only on their Weakness Attributes but also on whether their HP can be sustained through the remaining floors.

Clear a Full Phase to Recover HP

You’ll need to be mindful of how much attacks you’re taking in battle, as any damage sustained will persist until the phase is completed. Your team won't be able to automatically heal during the battle itself, but only after clearing the phases on every 5th floor onwards.

In the Simulated Battle Trials, you will go through progressively harder floors, each filled with unique challenges and powerful enemies. The higher you go, the more relentless and strategic the battles becomes. As you clear each floor, you unlock rewards, new abilities, and resources, but the difficulty will test your limits.

Defeat Powerful Enemies Each Floor

Every floor presents a new set of formidable set of enemies, each with distinct strengths and battle environment. Some may overwhelm you with brute force, while others could employ devastating buffs or debuffs to break your defenses. Understanding their patterns and weaknesses is crucial. Only by outsmarting and overpowering these enemies can you go to the next level.

Endless Conflict

You can still take endless challenges in the Simulated Battle Trial after you have cleared Floor 25. From this point onward, there are no additional phases to clear and no options to recover team's HP. The challenge becomes less about completing individual phases and more about how many floors your team can survive from. The highest floor you manage to reach will displayed.

Meet Recommended Character Level Requirements

The Simulated Battle Trial (Endless Tower ) is a highly difficult content that is incomparable to Shiyu Defense and Hollow Zero. Make sure to complete all preparations in advance, such as acquiring strong characters and farming Drive Discs.

Caesar Can Ease Clearing Difficulty

There is a high possibility that you can be defeated in one hit even by normal enemy attacks in the Simulated Battle Trial, so Caesar is extremely important she can can negate damage that exceeds the [Shield] limit.

It’s not impossible to clear without Caesar, but you’ll have to fight without taking any hits, so you’ll need skills like evasion and positioning.

bangbooTips!All characters with a Shield have high tanking abilities, so if you don’t have Caesar, use a character with a Shield such as Seth or Ben instead

Use Bangboo with Shield & Recovery Effects

You will need to battle consecutively in the Simulated Battle Trial with your character’s HP being carried over each stage of the phase, so including a Bangboo that can heal will be useful to your team's survival. However, it would be pointless if you a get one-shot hit, so also use Bangboo with Shield effects to tank the damage and avoid being eliminated in a single hit.

Prioritize Dodge over Attack

Simulated Battle Trial has a time limit of 10 minutes and the number of squad members downed within that time will affect the Challenge Target.

Therefore, your first priority is to keep your squad members alive, and your second priority is to defeat the enemy within the time limit. To avoid getting wiped, prioritize dodging and attack when it's safe.

If you want to get one step ahead of your enemies, you can check the enemy information provided on each floor. You can learn about the Enemy level, Weaknesses and Resistance to which you can use to plan ahead.

This way you’ll be able to create a well-rounded and adaptable party capable of overcoming the challenges ahead with greater efficiency and higher success rate.

Prepare for Extended Battles

With each floor, as you take damage, your ability to handle enemies becomes compromised. The longer you go without healing, the more difficult it becomes to survive. If you mismanage your HP or fail to plan for the most difficult encounters ahead, you could find yourself underpowered. Be sure to plan carefully to avoid this.

From Floor 1 to 25, you can strategically exploit the weaknesses of all enemies using a single attribute team for every 5 floors on each phase.

One thing to keep in mind when forming a team is that the enemy's attacks are very powerful from around the 15th floor, so it is recommended to add supporting character with Shield, even if the DPS drops a little.

Best Team Comps & Building for 1.3 (November 2024)

You'll Want Both an Ether and Fire Specialty Team for Floors 26 to 30

From the 26th floor, most of the Weaknesses are Ether Attribute + Ice Attribute, but only the 27th Floor has Fire Attribute as Weaknesses. If you are aiming for the 30th floor, it is ideal to have two types of formations: Ether Attribute formation, Ice Attribute formation, and Fire Attribute formation.

bangbooTips!You will start by clearing floors with a single attribute team of 3 characters. When you hit a floor with different elemental weaknesses, it’s a good idea to swap in additional characters as substitutes to cover those weaknesses

Basically, any Bangboo that triggers additional effects with the party you assemble should be fine. Nevertheless, the above Bangboo is recommended if you don't have Caesar or if you have a character with low HP stats.
