How to Progress the Event

Hunt the Lord of the Forest Strategy

Clear Act III of Trail in the Woods

First, clear the "Trail in the Woods" up to Act III. This will unlock "Witcher contracts".

Complete Witcher contracts

Next, let's take on the "Witcher contracts". There are Extra Rewards available up to twice a day, so after clearing as many stages as possible, receive the Extra Rewards on a higher difficulty. Since the Extra Rewards reset every day at 0:00, it's recommended to challenge them twice daily after clearing all stages.

Increase Collection Level (C-LV)

By gathering Collection, your "C-LV" will increase, and you will receive benefits such as character enhancements in some events of the Witcher 3 Collab, including this one. This is essential to progress advantageously in "Witcher contracts", so be sure to check the bonuses once you obtain a Collection.

Play Other Event Content

While waiting for content to unlock over time, proceed with clearing stages in "Trail in the Woods," "Witcher's Trial," and "Witcher contracts." Also, if there are Extra Conditions set apart from the clear conditions, you will receive mission completion rewards for achieving them.

Spend Bounty at the Tavern Merchant

By gathering the event-exclusive currency, Bounty, you can purchase rewards from the Tavern Merchant such as Secret Fates, character enhancement items, and Legendary Gear.

Tackle Content as They're Added

Some stages are time-gated. When stages are unlocked over time, aim to clear them right away.

Note!

You cannot clear all stages and missions on the first day of the event.

Aim for the Top in Rank Challenges

In the "Rank Challenges," which unlocks over time, you can take on high-difficulty stages. You can receive event mission completion rewards by clearing some stages, and since there is a ranking system, if you are confident, try aiming for the top ranks.

How to Farm Bounty

Farm the Highest Difficulty Stages

The higher the difficulty, the more Bounty you can obtain, so challenge the highest difficulty Witcher contracts that you can clear consistently. The amount of Bounty obtained is the same for Normal stage clears and Sweeps, so it doesn't matter which you choose.

Receive Extra Rewards Daily

"Witcher contracts" allows you to receive Extra Rewards up to twice a day. With Extra Rewards, the amount of "Bounty" obtained doubles, so to farm efficiently, be sure to complete Witcher contracts daily.

Tip!	Extra Rewards reset daily at 0:00.

Form a Team with Bonus Characters

By clearing stages with the recommended characters when challenging Witcher contracts, you will a Bounty multiplier. If you have the specified characters, don't forget to include them in your team.

Tip!	Bonuses are also applied during Sweeps.
