What are Tarot Whispers?

Tarot Whispers are a type of Gear

In Sword of Convallaria, Tarots are a type of Gear, just like Weapons and Trinkets, that can be equipped by characters. There are no character-specific equipment restrictions, and any character can equip any Tarot Whispers.

Tarot Stats Explained

Special Lv60 Attributes

At Lv 60, there's a low chance to be granted a special Skill that enhances or changes the Tarot's Skill. These are generally powerful effects for any Tarot, so aim to unlock these special Skills by enhancing many Tarots.

Prioritize High-Rarity Tarots

The higher the rarity of a Tarot, the higher its max Level, and the more Attribute (stat bonuses) it can unlock. Bringing a Legendary Tarot to Lv 60 gives it a chance to activate a special Skill, so it's generally recommended to prioritize raising Legendary Tarots.

The Attribute Rarities are Important

Attribute also have rarities. There are four types: "Legendary (Rainbow)" shown in the previous images, "Epic (Gold)", "Rare (Silver)", and "Common (Brown)". Be aware that Special Lv 60 Attributes may only be granted if the Attribute itself is Legendary.

How to Get Tarot Whispers

Obtain Series I from Tarot Residual

You can get Tarots by clearing "Tarot Residual" in "Crossing Worlds". The available stages and types of Tarots differ by the day of the week, so be sure to challenge the stages on the days they're available.

Note!	Tarot Residual is unlocked after clearing The Fool's Journey (3-16).

Obtain from Event Rewards

They are also available in large quantities as rewards from limited-time events and the "Cornucopia". Some events allow you to obtain many of the highest rarity "Legendary" Tarots, so be sure to actively participate and aim to get them.

Clash Rewards

By participating in the Clash mode daily, players can receive an abundant amount of Tarots based on their rank once the Season ends, as well as from the Activity Rewards once players attain a total of 400 Activity Points.

Purchase from Shop

Tarots can be purchase from the Reputation. Memory Crystal, and Insignia tabs of the Shop. Alternatively, players can also spend real-world money to purchase packs Tarot selection packs.

Tarot Enhancement and Farming Methods

Enhance Using Essence

Enhancing a Tarot involves leveling them up using "Tarot Essence" and "Elysium Coins". Unlike Weapons and Trinkets, there's no need to perform Breakthrough every 10 Levels, so you can enhance them to any specific Level immediately.

How to Get Tarot Essence

The main way to obtain Tarot Essence is by clearing "Tarot Residual" in Crossing Worlds. You can also get Tarot Essence by performing Breakdown on Tarots from the Inventory.

Note!	The amount of Tarot Essence you obtain is dependent on the difficulty of the Tarot Residual stage.

How to Farm for Attributes

Obtain a Tarot

Clear "Tarot Residual" in "Crossing Worlds" to get the Tarot you want to farm for. The available Tarots differ by the day of the week, so be sure to check before spending Stamina.

Note!Go for High-Rarity Tarots

The higher the rarity of a Tarot, the higher its max Level, and the more Attributes it can unlock. Even while your account is new, it's recommended to use only Epic to Legendary rarity Tarots.

Note the Initial Attribute

Once you have plenty of Tarots, the initial attribute determines whether or not you should invest in the Tarot further. Since this is shown upon acquisition, farm until you get stats that are compatible with the character who will equip it.

Note!You Cannot Re-Roll Attributes

There are no items that can change or re-roll a Tarot's Attributes. If you are not satisfied with a Tarot's Attributes, you will need to collect more of the same Tarot.

Look for Ideal Attributes While Enhancing

Level up the Tarot in intervals. Reach levels 20, 35, and 50, respectively to check if the next attribute is one that you desire. Then decide whether or not the Tarot is worth investing into further. Look for stats that are suitable for the equipping character but also ideally include the special attribute at Lv 60. While your account is still new, be careful not to run out of Tarot Essence by enhancing too many different Tarots.

Note!Breakdown Unsatisfactory Tarots

Tarots that don't roll the ideal Attributes can be broken down from the Inventory on the home screen. Some of the Tarot Essence used for enhancement will be refunded, allowing you to enhance other Tarots.
