How to Get Engravings
Radiant Forging Rewards

Engravings can be obtained by clearing "Radiant Forging" in "Crossing Worlds". However, note that engravings only start dropping from Stage 8 onwards.
Shop Exchange

Engravings can purchased from the shop by visiting the Reputation, Memory Crystal, and Insignia tabs. Note that each tab will require a different type of currency, so be aware that you may not have enough to buyout the shop if you are a new player.
How to Apply and Reroll Engravings
Apply by Enhancing Gear

You can engrave your gear via the "Gear Engraving" tab on the Gear enhancement screen by selecting the "+" button.

Differences per Rarity
The higher the rarity of the Engraving, the more likely you are to roll powerful stats, but it will cost more Elysium Coins. During the early game while resources are short, it's recommended to apply lower rarity Engravings across your whole main lineup before trying to roll for perfect stats.
Rarity | Cost |
Legendary | 30,000 |
Epic | 5,000 |
Rare | 1,500 |
Common | 500 |
How to Reroll Engravings
- Get Engravings
- Apply Engravings to Gear
- Repeat until you get your ideal stats

Clear "Radiant Forging" in "Crossing Worlds" to get the Engravings you want to reroll. You will also need the target Gear to start rerolling.

Spend Engravings and Elysium Coins to apply them. The higher the rarity of the Engraving, the more Elysium Coins are required, so be careful not to run out of coins.
Higher rarity Engravings are more likely to yield higher stat values. However, the maximum value does not change with rarity, so in the early game, it's recommended to do more rerolls with lower rarity Engravings.

If you are not satisfied with the additional stats, you can apply another Engraving to overwrite it. Unlike Tarot, you don't have to start from scratch, so there's no need to re-farm the Gear.
If you run out of Engravings while rerolling, farm "Radiant Forging" to collect more. Alternatively, you could purchase engravings from the shop, but you are limited by the shop's stock, and will have to wait for the monthly re-stock before you can purchase more.

How to Unlock Engravings
Complete The Fool's Journey 8-5
The Engraving feature is unlocked by clearing The Fool's Journey 8-5. If you are only new to the game, do not feel the need to rush towards this content since it is fairly expensive to achieve perfect
stat rolls.
What Are Engravings?
Strengthen Gear by Applying Engravings

By applying Engravings to Gear, you can add additional stats and Engraving types, making the Gear more powerful. The additional stat values are random, so just like with Tarot, there is a rerolling element.
Gain Stat Boosts and Buffs

By consuming Engravings and Elysium Coins, you can grant 1 to 3 stat-boosts to Gear. The maximum stat values differ depending on the Engraving type, so choose Engravings based on the equipping character and the stats you want.
Activate Engraving Resonance
You will acquire a passive skill known as "Engraving Resonance" based on the combination of Engravings applied to a character's equipped Weapon and Trinket.
