Guzman	Normal: Defeat-hardened (Passive) [Level 3 Effect] When [Injured], DMG is increased by 15% and DMG taken is reduced by 15%.

Samantha	Normal: Untamed Spirit (Passive) [Level 3 Effect] When the character has less than 2 [debuffs], DMG is increased by 12% and DMG taken is reduced by 12%.

Miguel	Normal: Valiant Vanguard (Passive) [Level 3 Effect] When there are 2 or more enemies within 2 tiles of the character, DMG is increased by 12% and DMG taken is reduced by 12%.

What are Ascension Skills?

RK13 Passives with Dedicated Slots

Ascension Skills (RK13 Skills) are passive Skills that can only be set in a special Skill slot. No other Skills can be set in this Skill slot; only Ascension Skills are allowed. They have various effects, from simple ones like stat boosts and damage reduction to enhancing specific Skills and Traits.

How to Unlock Ascension Skills

Reach RK13

Ascension Skills can be unlocked by upgrading a character to RK13. Ascension Skills each have Levels 1-3, and unlocking or leveling them up requires a special material called 'Badges'.

Get Badges from Pioneering Challenge

Unlocking materials can be obtained from Pioneering Challenge', which is accessed via 'Pioneering Odyssey' in 'Crossing Worlds'.

Types of Ascension Skills

Normal Ascension Skills

There are several types of Normal Ascension Skills, and each character can unlock one specific type assigned to them. Their effects are simple but often powerful, so it's recommended to prioritize unlocking the Normal Ascension Skills of frequently used characters. However, for characters who already have a Unique Ascension Skill available, you should generally unlock that one instead.

Unique Ascension Skills

A Unique Ascension Skill is a character-specific Skill, making it exclusive to that character only. It cannot be equipped by other characters, but it's characterized by making specific units more powerful than with a Normal Ascension Skill, as it can add new roles to a character or augment their performance.
