List of Upcoming and New Characters

This is a list of all the upcoming, unreleased, and new characters for Sword of Convallaria (SoC). Read on to see a list of new characters, as well as our initial thoughts on them!

Upcoming Character

Credenza on October 10th

As posted on the SoC Official Twitter, Credenza has been confirmed to be the next character slated for release on Oct. 10!

New Character Release Every 2 Weeks

In Sword of Convallaria, a new character banner is introduced to the Global server every other Friday. Official communities like Twitter/X will often release promotional infographics such as the one above shortly before a new character is added to the game.

Note!	Kiya, SchackLulu, and Senshi are the only available characters that were not introduced with featured banners.

CN/TW Servers are 6 Months Ahead

Since the alternate servers of Sword of Convallaria are approximately half a year ahead in terms of content, we can use those servers as a way to glimpse the future content and characters that will eventually be added to the Global server.

The unreleased characters below are listed in the order that they were released in the TW and CN servers of SoC.

Remember to take our list with a grain of salt since these are merely our initial thoughts, and these characters are unreleased, and untested on global servers. Our list is meant to serve as a reference for when and who you should be saving your Hope Luxites for, as well as to glimpse new SoC characters.

Parsifal

Parsifal is one of the characters that was introduced in the For This World of Peace Spiral of Destinies route. He functions similarly to Tristan in that he dashes and deals bursts of AoE damage. So if you already have Tristan, you can consider skipping Parsifal.

Important!	At the time of writing, there has been no news of a Parsifal banner, meaning it's possible that he will be added to game via Expedition rewards or a method that is alternate to summons.

Yserinde

Yserinde is one of the characters that was introduced in the For This World of Peace Spiral of Destinies route. She is the sister of Nydia, and specializes in wide-range [DoTs]. In the CN server, she was favored as one of the best characters for Tower of Adversity, making her a must pull!

SP Maitha

At the time of writing, SP Maitha, along with SP Nungal and SP Faycal, have yet to be introduced to the global server. However, these characters are representations of what happens after the events of For This World of Peace. Similar to Yserinde, SP Maitha is also considered to be a meta character for Tower of Adversity, also making her a must pull!

Camelot

The Judgement King Camelot was introduced as the main antagonist of the For This World of Peace storyline. His gameplay is similar to Auguste in that he also has [Act Again], while also dealing overwhelming damage, and granting himself shields, heals, and numerous buffs. Definitely a character worth pulling for!

SP Faycal

Similar to Layla, SP Faycal specializes in dealing off-turn damage with [Alert]. However, what differentiates SP Faycal is that he can cast his wide AoE [Alert] from a distance, allowing him to trigger attacks from relative safety. This is unique since other [Alert] methods typically involve the casting character (Momo, Teadon, etc.) to stand nearby or within the AoE.

Unless you desperately need a character that can choke an area, feel free to skip SP Faycal.

SP Nungal

SP Nungal inherits her mother, Pamina's, spear and becomes a melee, magic Breaker. Her gameplay is reminiscent of SP Rawiyah, in that she is a mobile, AoE, damage dealer. Similar to OG Nungal, SP Nungal also converts her damage into magic damage. An overall great unit, but not good enough to be a must pull.

Lukamar

Lukamar is touted as the strongest DPS unit in the future meta. Her gameplay revolves around a unique stacking mechanic that passively grant her bonus crit, while she also has the option to consume these stacks to produce various effects, such as buffing allied units, or enhancing her skills. A must-have, must-pull unit for all players.

Pooch RunRun

Pooch RunRun is an AoE debuffer that passively applies [Life Loss], [Infection], and random debuffs to the nearest enemies. She also has access to Attack debuffs, as well as a large number of [Dodge]s, making her fairly survivable given that she has to stand in the middle of enemies to be most effective. Overall, great unit for debuffs, but nothing game changing.

Shams

Among the available Breakers, Shams stands as the strongest, single-target DPS unit. However, his gameplay is high-risk, high-reward, since he needs to lower his HP to deal as much damage as possible. Shams does grant himself shields to offset this weakness, but compared to Camelot, Shams sacrifices durability in exchange for overwhelming force. A must pull if you need a powerful, single-target Breaker.

Clara

Clara is a counterattacker that deals damage to surrounding enemies whenever she gets attacked. While similar to Alexei and Pamina, Clara has [Assisting Block], which allows her to take damage in place of an ally, forcibly triggering her return damage. Furthermore, Clara can grant shields while also using them to deal damage, making Clara a flexible Defender that can lean into offense or defense.

At the end of the day, there are better characters to use for defense, and there are better characters for offense, making Clara skippable unless you need a character who can do both.

Selina

Selena is an AoE DPS from the Seeker Role. She has powerful combo attacks, similar to Auguste's [Wrath - Swift] combo. These combo attacks hit in a very large AoE in front of Selina, and have great attack multipliers. While we cannot make the comparison ourselves, Selina appears to be harder-hitting SP Rawiyah, but does not have the same mobility. Assuming Selina can perform anything like SP Rawiyah, she is definitely a must pull.

Yeganeh

SP Samantha

SP Samantha is a powerful Watcher character that specializes in AoE attacks and [Forced Alert], which is a more powerful version of the regular [Alert].

Falin

Falin is a Watcher that focuses on granting allies Shields while also having the unique ability of Group Teleportation, allowing the player to quickly reposition their party according to their needs.
