More Item Slots For Easy Mode
You'll get 10 item slots when playing in easy mode, allowing you to carry more items. In hard mode there is only 8, meaning you have to manage your inventory.
Get 2 More Inventory Slot As Story Progresses
As the story progresses, you'll get a side pack that increases your Inventory size by 2, giving you a total of 10 inventory slots in Hard mode.

In easy mode, you get a Assault Rifle at the start of the game, with the Magnum, Shotgun in your item box. In hard mode, you only start with the handgun & knife, and must find the rest on your own.

You get double the amount of ammo for all sources in easy mode, including gunpowder reloading. You will almost never ran out of ammo in easy mode, but will have to conserve them in hard mode.
