Reaching the STARS Office Walkthrough
Item Collection Walkthrough Chart

| 1 | Enter the RPD and watch the cutscene Kill Brad's zombie to get his STARS Card to unlock RPD containers |
| 2 | Head west and enter the hallway until your reach the Operations Room |
| 3 | Exit using the next room. Open the lock and exit to enter another corridor |
| 4 | Go to the Dark Room and use it to take a breather. Take note of the paper on the desk |
| 5 | Enter the West Office and open the safe to get a Hip Pouch. |
| 6 | Climb up to the second floor and into the showers. Take the Electronic Gadget from the wall |
| 7 | Move to the third floor and take the key lying on top of the box near the landing |
| 8 | Descend back to the first floor. Fight the Licker in the hallway |
| 9 | With the key from the third floor, open the Safety Deposit Room |
| 10 | Open the safe for the Battery and combine it with the Electronic Gadget to make a Detonator. Check the whiteboard to the left of the door before exiting |
| 11 | Head back up to the third floor and blast open the Shower Room wall |
| 12 | Fend off incoming enemies and head into the STARS office for a cutscene |
| 13 | Explore the office. When you try to leave the room, another cutscene will play |
1. Enter The RPD
Heavily Armed Carlos
In this part of the game you get to play as Carlos, the UBCS mercenary. He starts with a Combat Knife, a G18 Handgun, and plenty of ammo. He is also armed with the CQBR Assault Rifle that can fire continuous rounds at any zombie.

Holding down the trigger and firing the Assault Rifle can be tempting as you gun down enemies. However, it drains your limited ammo supply, so try to fire in bursts and be precise with your shots.
3. Enter Another Corridor - Tips
Packed With Zombies
Upon exiting the room, expect to encounter several zombies at the same time. It is recommended to retreat and lead them into the room so you can easily shoot them as they line up to attack you.

Unlock the Safe
There will be a safe which you can unlock in this room. Unlocking this safe will give you a hip pouch, an item that increases the space of your inventory.

2F Shower Room Locker Code
The locker in the Shower Room can be unlocked using the code CAP. The code can be seen written on the whiteboard south of the Operations Room.

3F Locker Code
The locker in the third floor can be unlocked by entering the code DCM (found in the Safety Deposit Room). This will reward you with some Assault Rifle ammo, which will come in handy especially when fighting the Licker later on.

Sneak & Fight Carefully
The Licker is a very agile monster that can pounce on you and deal significant damage. As it is very sensitive to noise, walk and try to find a good position before you pepper it with your Assault Rifle. Using Flash Grenades can also make this fight easier.

Use the combinations above to open the corresponding locker. Note that not all lockers in the room can be accessed.
12. Heading To The STARS Office
Make Detonator To Blow C4
Combine Battery & Electronic Gadget to make the Detonator. Attach it to the wall in locker room to pop the wall to reach STARS headquarters.

The path to the STARS office is going to be a bloody one. As the explosion has attracted zombies to your position, use the opening and the door to the hallway as bottlenecks so you can shoot the or throw a grenade at the incoming Zombies. Prepare a Flash Grenade as you'll also have to fight a Licker to reach the objective.
