Each enemy type has a weapon they are susceptible to, such as handgun for straggler zombies or grenade launchers for monsters like Hunters or Nemesis. Bringing the right weapon for the fight!

Certain weapons found throughout the story campaign will have a hidden set of items you can mount on the weapon to improve their combat capabilities. These custom parts are often hidden or require puzzle solving to acquire.
Aim For Body Parts & Weaknesses
Targeting certain body parts of enemies will give you an advantage, such as more damage from headshots. When fighting bosses, there may be certain phases where it will expose its weak parts, which can be targeted for damage.
Target Environmental Items For Damage & Debuffs
Environmental items such as gas barrels and electric boxes will detonate/ activate when shot, causing area-wide damage or stun debuffs. Be on the alert for them as they may save you a lot of ammo.
Separate Weapons For RE Resistance
RE3 Remake seems to feature a separate weapons pool from Resident Evil Resistance, which showcased different guns and even more melee arsenal like bats & clubs.
