How to Kill the Licker
Use Assault Rifle to Defeat
You will only encounter the Licker while playing as Carlos. When facing the Licker, take advantage of the Assault Rifle's fire rate and damage output to make quick work of the Licker!

Knife Can Also Be Used
Although it's difficult, you can also use the Survival Knife to kill the Licker. However this is not advised as getting close to the Licker will run a high risk of you getting damaged. Only use your knife when you are running low or out of ammo!
Face Head On
The Licker is a fast and agile creature, meaning that running away from it poses a high risk of you getting caught and badly damaged. It is recommended that you face and kill it instead of running away.
Use Punch to Stagger
Carlos throws a punch instead of dodging away from the enemy. This can be used against the Licker to stagger them, and give you some breathing room to heal, aim, or fire!
Sneak To Get Into Position
The Licker has no sense of sight, but has a heightened auditory sense. You can sneak around it to get into a good position to fight it. Avoid running or firing your weapon as this makes tons of unnecessary noise.
Flash Grenades Disorient It
You can also use a flash grenade to disorient it. However, keep in mind that it will start attacking in all directions. So make sure to keep away to avoid getting hit!

Appears in the RPD
The Licker will only appear while you are in the RPD. Keep in mind that this area is full of enclosed and narrow spaces. Be mindful of other enemies as well since other zombies can sneak up on you while you're focused on the Licker!

Close Range Swipes
When in range, the Licker will start to swipe at you to deal some damage. If the Licker gets too close, punch them to make them back off.
Leap Attack
After a brief windup, the Licker will leap at you to deal some damage. You can punch the Licker to stagger it, and avoid taking damage.
Tongue Lash
The Licker will use its tongue to lash at you. This attack has a long range, so keep your distance to avoid getting hit!
