The Tadpole Depth Module Mk. 1 is an essential vehicle upgrade in Subnautica 2. This module strengthens your vehicle's hull and allows you to safely descend into deeper zones without taking immediate pressure damage. Once equipped, the Tadpole's maximum safe depth increases to 450 meters.

The recipe data card is hidden deep inside the dangerous Needler Nest area within the Observatory biome. This region is especially hazardous because hostile Needlers can launch long-range projectile spikes directly at your vehicle.
