How to Get Lead

Collect in Leadzone Biome

Lead is commonly found in the Leadzone Biome, which is an area northeast of the Lifepod. During the early game, focus on smaller Lead deposits that you can pick up without the need of any tools.

Cicada Wreck (Lander Garage) Landmark

You can quickly and easily tell when you're in the Leadzone if you're close to the Lander Garage. The ground around the wreckage will be littered with Lead deposits.

Break Large Veins with Sonic Resonator

You can collect small Lead deposits by hand, but large Lead veins require the Sonic Resonator to mine them. Since Lead is needed for several advanced upgrades, farming these large veins is highly recommended once you unlock the tool.

Pinpoint with Scanner Station

If you're still having trouble locating Lead, you can use a Scanner Station to pinpoint deposits within 300m.

Earliest Lead Farming Location

The best place to farm Lead is roughly 405 meters northeast of the Lifepod at Cicada Wreck (Lander Garage). Lead can be found scattered across the sea floor around the wreckage.
