What Is Enameled Glass in Subnautica 2?

Subnautica 2 Enameled Glass Recipe

Enameled Glass is one of the most important materials in Subnautica 2. It is required for several major upgrades including the Bioscanner, the Tadpole Depth Module, and the Feedback Resonator. Without it, deep-ocean exploration is effectively off limits.

How to Get Enameled Glass

Subnautica 2 Fabricator Crafting Enameled Glass

Craft Enameled Glass at a Fabricator under the Basic Materials section. The recipe requires two ingredients:

Ingredients How to Get It
Glass x1 Craft at a Fabricator using Quartz. Quartz is found on shallow seabeds and inside coral domes.
Creature Enamel x1 Found in the Alien Ruins area, approximately 1,200m to 1,300m east of the Lifepod. Blast Enamel Husk deposits with the Sonic Resonator.

Note: Creature Enamel cannot be collected by hand. You need the Sonic Resonator. See our Creature Enamel guide for exact locations and farming tips.
