Early Access Hotfix 1

The developers released the first official hotfix for Subnautica 2 to address several critical launch issues and community-reported startup problems following the Early Access release. This update is currently available on PC platforms and will arrive on Xbox once platform certification is complete.

Updated the crash-on-startup error pop-up for AMD graphics cards and DirectX 12 issues to provide better troubleshooting guidance
Fixed an infrequent crash related to the Ping feature
Enabled analytics only after accepting the Terms of Service
Reduced the amount of data being sent to backend services

The developers also confirmed that additional updates regarding the current Terms of Service and a dedicated FAQ covering community concerns will be released in the near future.

Early Access Launch

Subnautica 2 is now officially available in Early Access, allowing players to explore a brand-new alien world filled with dangerous underwater ecosystems, mysterious creatures, and advanced survival technology. Players can experience the adventure solo or team up with up to three friends through online co-op.

The game is currently available across major digital storefronts. PC players can purchase it through the Steam Store or the Epic Games Store, while console players can secure their copy through the Xbox / Microsoft Store.
