Head east from the Lifepod area into the open ocean to find the Collective Leviathan. This highly hostile squid-like creature actively roams the said area, posing a significant threat to anyone exploring its territory.

Tips When Encountering the Leviathan
| Equip Upgrades | Cross the open ocean with the Tadpole vehicle and Scout Chassis upgrade to ensure you can outrun the creature. |
|---|---|
| Escaping | Allow the vehicle to be grabbed, then immediately accelerate away during the post-attack cooldown without looking back. |
| Stay Inside the Vehicle | Never exit the Tadpole, as the creature will target unmanned craft and hurl them away, potentially leaving you stranded upon respawning. |
| Pack a Repair Tool | Always carry a repair tool to fix your vehicle once you have safely escaped to a distance. |
Enhance Your Tadpole
It is highly recommended to enhance your Tadpole and upgrade it to a Scout Ray Chassis. This upgraded Tadpole has an enhanced agility that will enable your Tadpole to move faster and quickly swim away from the Collective Leviathan.
How to Scan the Collector Leviathan
Deploy your Tadpole as a decoy to exploit the creature's habit of attacking empty vehicles. Immediately after the grab attack triggers, step outside and stay safely behind the creature's head area to complete the scan.
