Speak to Miller at the farm and he will ask you to lend him a ground-type Pokemon. Completing this request will give you more fields for your Farm.

Geodude Is Easy To Get
The easiest ground-type Pokemon you can get in the early game is Geodude. It appears at Deertrack Heights in the Obsidian Fieldlands.

Pokemon Can Be Exchanged
If you lend a ground-type Pokemon to Miller, you won't be able to bring that Pokemon in your party. If you want to use the Pokemon you lent, you can trade it for another ground-type Pokemon.
Harvest The Crops
You will need to grow and harvest crops in the field to receive the next request (Request 42: Watering The Fields). Speak to Colza to start planting crops of your choice.
