What Is The Base Camp?
Starting Location For A Region
The base camp is where you initially start when you arrive to survey a region. You can also heal your Pokemon, craft items, and switch the current time.
Respawn Point When You Faint
If you faint due to an attack from a wild Pokemon, you will respawn back at the base camp. When you faint and respawn back at base camp, you will also lose some of your items.

Heal Your Pokemon
You can heal your Pokemon when you rest at the base camp. It is recommended to do this to save on using recovery items.
You Can Change The Time
When resting at the base camp, you will get the option to set the time you wake up after you rest. This give you the ability to control the current time in the region since some Pokemon only spawn at a specific time.
Change Your Team
The maximum number of Pokemon that you can have in your team is 6. You can change the Pokemon in your team similar to an inventory screen when you are at base camp.
How To Change Pokemon?Crafting Items
You can craft items with the ingredients you get from the wild at base camp. However, you will need the recipe before you will be able to craft an item.
Report Your Findings
Talk to Professor Laventon to report your finding during your survey. Doing this will increase your research level if you have completed some tasks for the Pokedex.
You Also Receive Money
You can also receive some money from Professor Laventon when you submit your survey report. The amount of money will depend on the survey tasks that you have done.
