How To Get In The Map Chamber
Can Go During Jackdaw's Rest Quest
In order to reach the Map Chamber, you need to proceed with "Jackdaw's Rest" main story quest. If you talk to the portrait in The Map Chamber, the quest will be completed and Talents will be available.
Floo Flames In The Area
After talking to the portrait in The Map Chamber, you will find Floo Flames. It is not hidden and you are going to encounter it along the way.
A Trophy Achievement
You can get a trophy by going to The Map Chamber. A trophy is available for each House and if you want to get all trophies, you need to go to this area four times in total. If you lower the difficulty, skip conversations and cutscenes, and take shortcuts, you can reach it in about 2 hours.
How To Go To The Map Chamber
Fast Travel From Secret Rooms
If you select The Map Chamber from the Secret Rooms of Hogwarts Castle, you will go thru Fast Travel. The icon at the top of the map is the Secret Rooms.
Possible To Reach On Foot
If you set the Map Chamber Floo Flames as the waypoint, you can get a navigation guide in the minimap. However, it takes time and you are likely going to stop during an event. If you want to reach it quickly, go with Fast Travel.
