You can instantly restore HP by using Wiggenweld Potion, the only recovery item in Hogwarts Legacy. This potion can be obtained by purchasing from J. Pippin's Potions at Hogsmeade for 100 Galleon or by Spellsbrew.

Picking Up Orbs For Ancient Magic Meter
Another way to restore HP is by picking up orbs that accumulate Ancient Magic Meter. The orbs can be produced by performing 10 or more combos. You can only recover a bit of HP in this method but it is still useful, especially if you run out of potion.
Auto Recovery When Out Of Combat
When you have a low HP after a battle, do not worry as your HP gradually recovers when out of combat and can restore full HP.
Dark Arts - Curse Sapper
Curse Sapper is a Dark Arts Talent that can restore some HP when you defeated a cursed enemy.
