How To Get And Unlock Graphorn Mount
Complete The San Bakar’s Trial
Graphorn appears in the main quest "The San Bakar’s Trial". It will be necessary to catch and ride to complete the quest.
Fight It Until Its Health Gauge Is 0
They cannot be caught like other Beasts unless engaging in battle and wearing them out. First you have to duel it in combat and fight it until Graphorn's Health goes down to 0.
Only Damage Spells And Ancient Magic Can Be Used
Control Spells and Force Spells such as Depulso and Levioso have no effect on Graphorn. Try to use Damage Spells or Ancient Magic to inflict damage.
Choose To Kneel The First Time
When the health bar is at 0, an event scene and options are shown. You will be able to ride it if you choose to kneel.
The Other Graphons Will Need To Be Weakened First In Battle Before You Are Able To Catch Them
Graphorn can be caught multiple times, spawning in the same place as the first. Breeding is also possible in the breeding grounds, so if you want one, visit again.
Even after getting the second and later Graphorns, you must first beat them by engaging in a combat. You can use the nab sack to grab it once you've reduced its health to zero.

The nearest Fast Travel is "South Clagmar Coast". It is recommended to unlock it while visiting in the area in the story.

Graphorn Basic Information
Graphorns are large mountain-dwelling beasts that have a tough hide and two sharp horns. Graphorns have tentacle-like appendages are used for capturing food and tending to their young. Graphorn are known for their aggressive nature although there are a few instances of spells users who developed a strong bond with it.
