How To Defeat Trolls

Protego For Throwing Stones → Throw

If you block the stone throw with Protego, you can throw the stone you flipped. Make sure you use this to complete the objective of the Duel Feat "Hit the troll with its own boulder", and if used successfully, the opponent will be temporarily immobilized.

Stunned When It Crashes Into An Obstacle

Trolls are stunned when they crashed into an obstacle after dashing. It is easy to spot when it is about to make its dashing move and the short gap before its dashes enables you to move out of the way, although it is best direct it to the wall as much as possible so it gets immobilized afterwards.

Use Flipendo After Club Swing

Using Flipendo against a slam attack at the end of a series of damage spells will stun the Troll. This will enable you to hit the objective of the Duel Feat "Hit the troll with its own boulder".

The Invisibility Potion needed to complete Professor Sharp's Assignment 2 is made from Troll Bogeys. You can learn the spell Diffindo after completing the assignment.

Complete The Challenge

You need to defeat 15 trolls to complete the challenge. You can get the decreased damage taken from trolls as you upgrade Cushioning I to III by clearing the challenge.
