How To Use Alohamora
Check The Lock
After learning Alohomora, just approach the lock location and check it. Alohomora is an Essential Spell so setting it in available spell slots is not necessary.
Turn The Dials So The Gears Will Rotate
When you check the lock, a simple puzzle appears and you need to solve it in order to unlock the door/chest. Turn the dial so the gear at the lower right & innermost will rotate. The outer dial is linked to the lower right gear while the innermost dial is linked to the center gear.
Turn The Dial And Stop When The Gear Starts To Rotate
Keep on turning the dial until the link gear starts to rotate. This can be done easily.
Only The "Story" Difficulty Can Be Skipped
You can skip the cutscene if the difficulty is set to "story". However, puzzle tutorials cannot be skipped in any difficulty.
