How To Upgrade Gears?
Upgrade At The Room Of Requirement Using Enchanted Loom
You can upgrade Gears by using the Enchanted Loom device that is conjured in the Room of Requirement which will be unlocked upon progressing through the game story.
There Are Two Method To Enhance Your Gears

| Upgrade | Gear features one primary Offence or Defence stat by default. (*The second upgrade onwards are increase in stat numbers.) |
| Adding Traits | Increases your combat abilities, such as spells, tools, etc. |
Gear upgrades and adding traits are status-enhancing upgrades that enhance all the abilities that will definitely help you during combat.
Beast Materials Are Required
In order to upgrade your Gear, you will need materials coming from Beasts. These materials can be collected from your Beast at the breeding grounds or by purchasing them at Brood and Peck in Hogsmeade.

You Can Only Upgrade Gears With "Superb Gear" Rarity And Above

Only Gears with Superb or higher rarity can be enhanced. If you do not have a Gear, it is recommended that you try to get one with a higher rarity first.

Gear Upgrade Guide
Enhancing Your Gears

By upgrading gears, you can enhance the other stat that is not their original status. You can enhance the Defence of the Handwear, Neckwear, and Cloak types, while Offence will be increased when Face, Headwear, and Clothing types were upgraded.
You Can Only Upgrade Your Gear Three Times
You can upgrade gears that are Superb rarity above up to 3 times. Every time you enhance, the respective stat will increase.
The Higher The Rarity, The Greater The Enhancement Value

The Amount Of Materials Is Higher Per Rarity
The number of materials required for upgrades increases based on their rarity. You need to collect many materials when you plan to upgrade legendary gears.

How To Add Traits?

Click The △ Button To View & Add Traits
Check the Enchanted Loom device and then place the cursor on the Gear to which you want to add the Traits, and lastly press the △ button (F for PC version) to view and add Traits.
Only The Discovered Traits Can Be Added
Only traits that you have discovered can be attached to Gears. If you do not have strong Traits, it is recommended that you collect them first. These items can be found through challenge rewards or can be found in outlaw encampments.
Collect The Trait Requirements
Check the materials needed for the traits you want to add. These trait materials are mostly can be obtained from Beasts.
The Same Traits Can Be Added To Different Gears
Once the traits are added to your desired gears, they will never disappear. Traits can be added even after they are overwritten with other traits. As long as you have the necessary materials needed, you can freely replace these traits as many times as you want.
Assigned Traits Will Not Be Removed
Once Traits are attached to a Gear, it is not possible to remove it, since there are no traits that produced negative impact this will not be a problem. It is also not possible to remove the assigned Traits from the Gears that had them since the beginning.
Different Traits Levels Can Be Attached To Different Rarities

The Gear rarity determines the Traits slot level, and only the Traits under that slot level can be attached, meaning that even if you have Trait Slot Level III, it is still useless unless you also have the Legendary Gear.
