 Head north to San Bakar's Tower and talk to Professor Fig | |
| Kill the goblins in front of the tower (using stealth is possible) ∟ If you defeat the enemies that appears, more will appear which will force you to continue battling | |
| Go inside the Tower and talk to Professor Rackham's portrait upstairs | |
| On the lower floor, examine traces of Ancient Magic and start the trial |
Use Stealth If You Don't Like Combats
If you are not good at combats with multiple enemies at once, you may use a strategy where you will need to sneak behind enemies one by one and eliminate them. Defeat them quickly with Accio and Incendio, then wait for the next target Disillusionment.

 Examine the traces in the back hall and go through the archway in the direction you came from. | |

| Use Accio to pull the moving platform towards you and progress. There is a trace on the platform in the back on the right side, so investigate it. | |
 Don't go through the arch that appears, use the floating foothold to move to the other side and go back. | |

 Go through the arch from the other side of the path you came from and create a foothold when there is no bridge | |
 Using Accio, pull the floating scaffolding behind where the bridge used to be. | |

 Go through the arch from the side where the treasure chest is and pull the platform that appears with Accio | |

Boss Pensieve Guardian Strategy
Damage Spells Attack Patterns
- Trampling AoE Shock Wave
- Color Orb Attack
- After Color Orb, Magic Orb
- After Down, AoE Shock Wave
Its attack damage pattern is very straight forward and can be easily countered when you get used to it.
Elemental orbs can be destroyed and flinched by hitting them with spells that match their color. You can distinguish spells with their color like red for Damage Spells, yellow for Levioso, and purple for Accio.
Evasion → Damage Spells Are Basic
Take advantage of the resting time that occurs after the Trampling and Orbs, to attack the Guardian. After you destroy the orbs, it is recommended to take the down with Ancient Magic.
Elements To Be Unlocked After Completing
After completing the trial, talk to Charles Rookwood, and at this time the Exploration element "Traces of Ancient Magic" will be released. You can increase your Ancient Magic meter, so try it out if you see it on the map!
