How To Make Money Fast

Selling Beasts Is The Best Way To Make Money

You can obtain Beasts by completing the Main Quests called "The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and the Loom". Beasts can be sold for 120 Galleons. You can earn more money efficiently by catching and selling Beasts.

Money Making Procedure

  1. Proceed to obtain the Nab-Sack
  2. Head to a Puffskein Den
  3. Set the Difficulty to Story
  4. Capture all of the Puffskein that appears
  5. Save and load. Repeat until they are gone

Complete The Main Quest "The Elf, The Nab-Sack, And The Loom"

First get the Nab-Sack by progressing through the Main Quest "The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom".

Puffskein Nest Location

Puffskeins are magical beasts that are easy to catch and are recommended to capture them. There are nests in various locations, but the nest closest to Hogsmeade is easy to reach from the Fast Travel Point in South Hogsmeade.

Change To "Story" Difficulty

Setting the difficulty to "Story" makes it easier to catch beasts. It's recommended to go into Story mode since your sole purpose is just to earn money, and this will makes it easier to catch them with the Nab-Sack.

Change To Day & Night, Then Save & Reload

  1. Switch the time from Day to Night on the Map screen
  2. Save
  3. Load the Save data

Beast Dens are scattered all over the map, but it takes time to capture them while moving around. If you change the time after capturing all of them, save and load, then the Beasts will reappear. You can then capture them again.

How To Make Money Early In The Game

Find Eye Chests

You can get 500 Galleons by finding and opening Eye Chests. As of this point in time, Eye Chest is the highest efficient method, so make sure to collect loot from it.

How To Open Eye Chests - All Locations Map

Can Only Be Opened Once

Eye Chests are a one-time money-making method since they do not respawn. It is good to use this method if you need money fast, especially at the early stages of the game.

Sell Unnecessary Gears

Gear that you don't use or no longer need may be sold. The price of each Gear varies depending on its rarity. 200 Galleons is the highest sell price currently known.

Equipment Can Be Obtained Through Chests & Challenge Rewards

Gear items can be obtained from treasure chests and Challenges rewards. However, the higher your level, the higher status equipment you can obtain, and the contents are random.

Bags & Treasure Chests

There are Bags and Treasure Chests around the towns and the castles. Remember to check all of them since they can hide Galleons inside.

Prioritize Seeds & Recipes

You can grow plants with seeds and make potions with recipes. Prioritize purchasing seeds & recipes since some plants & potions are required in main & side quests. Seeds can be purchased at The Magic Neep while recipe at J. Pippin.

Total Of 7500G

To purchase all seeds & recipes, you will need a total of 7500G so find all Eye Chests and do other money-farming methods.

Potting Table (Large) For Spellcrafts

Potting tables are required for plant cultivation and it comes in three sizes: large, medium, & small. There are plants that can not be grown in a small and medium pot but the large pot can grow all plants so be sure to purchase the large ones as much as possible. Potting Table (Large) costs 1000G each.

Can Be Used In The Room Of Requirement

Spellcrafts can be used in the Room of Requirement. If you haven't been able to access it yet, proceed with the main quests.

Purchase Ingredients & Potions For Convenience

Ingredients & potions can be made by cultivating or brewing but it takes time to collect the necessary materials. If you have enough money and are in a hurry, you can buy it at J. Pippin.

Purchase Gears After Leveling Up

Gears are often acquired from treasure chests. If your level is low, the status of gears is also low thus it is not recommended to buy gears in the early game.

Change Character Features

Modifying your character's features costs 20G, which is affordable. Look for a hairdresser if you want to make some modifications.
