Completing Challenges is the only way to gain experience in Hogwarts Legacy.All Challenges must be completed to reach the maximum level of 40, although you can finish the ending with just reaching level 34.
The following is a summary of the items that can be used to efficiently complete the Challenges, so please refer to them.
Field Guide Collections
You can gain 80 EXP for each field guide that you can get, and with Hogwarts and Hogsmeade all together there are 205. You can find them by just walking around and using Revelio, so it will be a fast find.
Continuously Use Revelio When Searching
There are transparent Field Guides, and to collect them you will need to use Revelio. While searching if you use Revelio then you will not miss them.
Solves Puzzles To Collect Items
There are some Field Guides that appear once you solve Puzzle. Revelio will also reveal Puzzels so just using Revelio while walking around is recommended.
Also Clear The Puzzles You Find
Puzzles such as Astronomy Tables are also one of the challenges where you need to collect items. It is recommended that you complete the quest when you find it for the time being.
Advance Exploration According To Quests And Assignments
When completing Main/Side Quests or Assignments, many of them will help gain XP. Do not just move around without a goal, but try aiming to complete quests while searching around so you can gain while you do so.

Do Battle Arena Rounds In Low Difficulty
There are no differences in the XP that you receive according to difficulty, you can go into the Battle Arena in Difficulty "Story" Mode and farm. 1 enemy will give a small amount of XP but in a short period of time you can defeat a lot of them so you can gain a good amount of XP.

Stop The Challenge Once You Have Achieved The Required Number Of Enemies To Defeat
You won't gain additional XP once the objective in the challenge has been fulfilled so its better to stop. If you really want to earn experience points by battling, it is recommended that you go around camps and enemy lairs.

Level 40 Is The Maximum Level
Complete all Challenges to reach level 40 and earn a Trophy. Talent Points acquired points is 36, so out of the 48, you will only be able to allocate 3/4 of them, so please choose carefully according to your play style.

You Can Reach Level 40 By Completing All Challenges
You can reach level 40 by completing all quest items in the Challenges, so you need to collect a lot of collectible elements if you want to aim for it. Unlike other RPGs, you can't level up just by fighting enemies so make sure that you finish any uncompleted challenges.

Max HP Increases
Your max HP increases as your level increases. Having high HP is convenient, especially when facing stronger enemies.
Equip Gear With High Rarity
Some gears with high rarity require a specific level so gaining levels is greatly recommended as it is essential for equipping better gears. The higher your level is equal to how strong your gear is, so there's nothing better than raising your level.
Do Not Waste A Rare Treasure Chest By Opening It At A Low Level
There aren't many treasure chests containing high-quality gear, and opening them at a low level is pretty wasteful. If possible try to open a rare treasure chest at least in the middle or in the final stages of the game.
Acquire Talent Points
By level 5, you can start earning talent points as you level up. Talent is an important element which can significantly improve your gaming experience thus leveling up will make you stronger.

Easier To Progress The Main Quests
