When you reach the Max Level of 40, you will receive 36 Talent Points. But there are 48 Talents, with which 12 can not be strengthened so you may want to choose wisely on where you are allocating the Talent Points.
You Cannot Reassign Points
Accumulated Talent points can only be used once since it is no possible way to reallocate them. Since it is not possible to reallocate you must choose which Talents you are planning to strengthen beforehand. Either use our guides to strengthen the recommended Talents, or save your data and then accumulate the points, test them out and see which Talents best fit your liking.

Talents points are awarded when you reach level 5, and from there you get 1 point for every time you level up. There is no other way to obtain it, so you will need to level up if you want to get Talent points.

Once Talents points are allocated, they cannot be reallocated. The number of Talents you can earn is limited, so choose carefully according to your own play style.
Unlocked After The Early Main Quests Are Completed
Talents will be unlocked after completing the Jackdaw event in Main Quests. Be prepared for multiple strong enemies that will appear at the end of the event.
