Recommended Difficulty Settings/Options
Select The Level That Fits Your Playstyle
| Difficulty | Details |
|---|---|
| Story | Very easy. You can focus on the story of the game. |
| Easy | A somewhat challenging difficulty. |
| Normal | Balanced level. |
| Hard | Very challenging difficulty. |
There are 4 levels of difficulty you can choose. It can be changed after so you do not need to worry much and just adjust it when needed.
For Hardcore Gamers, Select Hard
The game itself has a fairly low difficulty. If you want to challenge yourself, selecting Hard difficulty will be for you. If you find it too difficult you can just change the settings right away.
For Beginners, Story Level Is Recommended
Even with the lowest level of difficulty, you can still enjoy the complexities of Hogwarts Legacy. You need to use various spells during the game and getting used to it can be difficult for some people.
How To Change Difficulty?
You Can Change It From Menu
- Open the menu
- Select "Settings"
- Select "Gameplay Options" (4th row from top.)
Since you can easily change the level, you can opt to adjust it depending on the contents that you are facing.
Differences In Difficulty
The Level Of Enemies Differs
When the difficulty increases then the enemies will become stronger, their HP is also high so it is harder for you to defeat them. There is also a chance that if you are hit from an enemy in Hard Mode then you might have a chance to faint.
When The Difficulty Is Weak, Then The Enemies Are Slow Motion
When the Difficulty is either Story mode or Easy, then the enemies will become Slow Motion when they are about to attack. Due to this it is easier to avoid or counter the attacks.
Difficulty In Destroying Barriers
Some enemies create barriers which you can counter against them. With the difficulty level the steps to breaking the barriers becomes harder and if you are on Hard Mode then it will take a lot of your efforts to break it.
Some Puzzles Become Easier To Solve
There are various types of puzzles in this game. When you change the difficulty to Story Mode, some puzzles will be solved automatically.
