Gears can be obtained by opening treasure chests in various places. Once opened, it cannot be obtained from the same treasure chest.
Open Legendary Treasure Chest At The End Of The Game
Since the gear status that can be obtained depends on the character level of the player, it is recommended that you open the Legendary Treasure chest the end of the game when the level is high.
Quest Reward
You can obtain gears in some quests rewards. There's a high chance that you can get Legendary Gears instead of regular equipment.

What Are Appearances?
Gear equipment have different design appearance which you can customize. You can change your appearance to your liking without changing your stats.
Dropped By Enemies
Gears can be obtained by defeating Enemies.
Buy At Hogsmeade
Equipment or gears can be purchased at the Gladrags Wizardwear located inside the Hogsmeade Village. In Gladrags Wizardwear, you can buy various items using the in-game currency called Galleons. Most of the items except the traditional school robe that is obtainable at the start of the game can be purchased using Galleons.

Gears has 5 different rarities. Even with the same name, gears differ in rarity and status value.
② Level Limit
You will be able to equip a certain gear when you reach the indicated level. The higher your character level is, the easier it is to get gears with a higher level limit and status value.
③ Upgrade
Gears above Superb can be enhanced by upgrading. You can upgrade it up to 3 times.

④ Traits Slot
Gear with slots activates additional effects, making it more advantageous in battle. Some have free slots at the beginning while others need an upgrade.
How To Change Gear?
Gear Change
You can change gears if you go to gear from the menu and select the gear you want to change.
Change Appearance In The Gear Screen Menu
Appearances can be changed by pressing the □ button (F for PC version) at the part you want to change on the Gear screen.

Go To Settings & Click Gear
To change gears or outfits, press the options button, and on the upper left, you will see the Gear section. Upon selecting the Gear you can see various options relating to the parts of the character's appearance that you wish to change.
